Didn't lose to LSU I guess.

For a program that is as dogshit as Aggy that must be an accomplishment

Early, and late. Two years left.

Literally depends on his roster

Which coach doesn’t literally rely on their roster?

7 through 11 are all pretty much interchangeable, but the top and bottom look about right.

I say fair to it. I hope Mullen can move up move but Jimbo and Fisher have rings, so 1 and 2 is fair for them for sure.

He will be ranked much closer to bottom

I doubt that, because I don't think he'll be at LSU in 5 years

What has Fisher accomplished at atm to be ranked as the best coach in the SEC?

Scored 74 on DBU?

I'd take Mullen over anyone on that list not named Saban. But fairly strong HC talent across the SEC. The only person on there that couldn't win in the right circumstance is Matt Luke, IMO.

I’d put Smart over Fisher & Ed O over Gus. Until Gus can beat Ed Orgeron then he doesn’t need to be ranked over him.

Here’s CBS Sports’ ranking of the SEC head football coaches:

1. Nick Saban, Alabama
2. Jimbo Fisher, Texas A&M
3. Kirby Smart, Georgia
4. Dan Mullen, Florida
5. Gus Malzahn, Auburn
6. Ed Orgeron, LSU
7. Will Muschamp, South Carolina
8. Mark Stoops, Kentucky
9. Joe Moorhead, Miss State
10. Barry Odom, Missouri
11. Jeremy Pruitt, Tennessee
12. Derek Mason, Vanderbilt
13. Matt Luke, Ole Miss
14. Chad Morris, Arkansas

amazing how much better the coaches in the SEC were 10 seasons ago...

Nick Saban - Alabama
Mark Richt - Georgia
Urban Meyer - Florida
Gene Chizik - Auburn
Les Miles - LSU
Steve Spurrier - South Carolina
Rich Brooks - Kentucky
Dan Mullen - Miss State
Lane Kiffin - Tennessee
Bobby Johnson - Vanderbilt
Houston Nutt - Ole Miss
Bobby Petrino - Arkansas

*Gary Pinkel - Missouri
*Mike Sherman - Texas A&M

only Aggies have improved their HC some 10 seasons later.

With any luck he'll be run off of campus long before that.

Derek Mason should def be ahead of Pruitt for now.. Mason doesn't have the resources that UT has and he has still kicked their arse the last few years.
