Love thst chicken from popeyes! And I might get crucified for saying this, but I freaking love their red beans and rice....next fav after popeyes is chicken express, and they have amazing tea.

Slim Chickens is definitely better than Canes. I grew up on Zaxbys and still have a small affinity for them.

Canes quality took a serious hit during COVID. The last handful of times I've been, they've been great.

I always felt Oxford based Abner’s chicken was better than both.
Canes was good
Slims is always underseasoned and over cooked.
Abner’s has the best grilled tenders In fast food. They marinate them and sear them on the flat top. Not greasy and their fried tenders are pretty good too. Their Abner’s sauce though beats slims/Canes out In a Landslide.

Well, comparing a one location chain to a multinal corporation's product is pretty dumb from the outset. The same goes for all of these smaller chicken joints.
