This is how far Texas has fallen.

Still bragging about losing to Alabama 8 months after the early September game. Love it.

WTF does Texas have turf for football and baseball anyway?

Too poor to have natural grass I guess.

I bumped this thread by posting that per our A.D., we will move to grass in football.

And you morons kept biting MDB’s hook.

For one game maybe they were. I would go with that before the heat. Isn't it like 90+ in tuacaloosa in the summer?

I'm in north florida one state down and it is insanely hot.

Read the thread title and try to hang on to some context for 5 minutes. Shorthorns are bragging about a BAMA loss. And a gut-wrenching one at that. Moral victories are what you start threads about on the rant when you've walked in the wilderness for the last 15 years, courtesy of the Crimson Tide.

We don’t even really know where to start with the blaming and the walking in the wilderness. People will give their own answers but there are so many different opinions about who did what and which was worse

In Austin....

Brigham Young - 41
Texas - 7

Miami - 46
Texas - 3

UCLA - 66
Texas - 3

Just a few teams over the past 10-25 years that struggled against that "Austin heat/turf" slowing them down.

Another lie as big as the state of Texas.

Turf had nothing to do with it. We were a very good team last year. Not great. Texas played great game. I think you are diminishing your team by blaming on turf. Texas played on same field.

Gonna be a good second game BUT, if Milroe comes out as a starter, Bama is gonna get trounced.

Because that's what traditionally happens when teams come to Bryant Denny. Especially 8-5 teams.

We'll leave the lights on for you.

Your starting QBs can't even finish a game

You can't win just on "tradition"

Sark is thirsty for greatness. Saban is the GOAT but he’s fat and happy. 31-17 Horns.

And that's what cost him at USC. Nothing says hungry like bringing an 8-5 team to Tuscaloosa.
