It is ridiculous. There is some message board chatter that we will transition to grass over the next few years in both football and baseball. Hopefully it's not just wish casting.

Why do you have turf? How long has it been that way?

If we could just go ahead and ban 99.9% of posters from both UT fan bases, this board may be able to make a comeback.

Right now it's just a bunch of lame arse, uncreative trolls by the same 3 posters.

How about Alabama wasn’t very good. Nobody can look at Bama the last couple years and say that was a good team. Throwing the ball inside the one, giving up 3rd and 10s routinely, defensive players not lining up right, 2 receivers in the same area on a pass. Something has been amiss with this team and turf had zero to do with it. Also, it ain’t hotter nowhere in America than Alabama in august so that had nothing to do with it: Bama just hasn’t been very good. From going to Trent Richardson and mark Ingram to jhamyr Gibbs and minkah fitzpatrick, Dre Kirkpatrick and mark Barron to Jordan battle is more of the problem. Going from Going from donta Hightower to Henry Toto and drew sanders was more of a problem.

Texas A.D. tweets that grass will be put in after the in-progress indoor practice facility project is completed.

Sure. And Texas still lost. Maybe if yall had grass like Neyland or Tiger Stadium the shorthorns would have won.

Either that or the Texas defense was just really good.

The shorthorn crowd was celebrating that win in the 4th quarter like it was Mardi Gras and texas independence all in one. They just knew that they had the Tide's number that day and it was over.

Then Bryce Young happened. And before you could blink an eye, BAMA had gone the length of the field with the crowd going bananas and celebrating, and with just seconds left took the lead for good.

BAMA just did to the shorthorns exactly what Bryce Young and BAMA did to the barners, down on the Plains, the year before. Rip their collective heart out in the last seconds of what was believed to be a great, great win over the gold standard in college football. Those types of losses stay a lifetime and leave scar tissue in those memory banks forever. And dumbazz, this is what BAMA football does to you.

And you now want to publicly relive the moment for shorthorn Nation. Have at it, idiot boy.

I think they blamed everything on the asst coaches, last year.

As opposed to blaming the refs, an LSU past time.

Careful about glass houses there son.

You must have slept through the month or so after Bama lost to Tennessee.

And they still went 8-5 in the weakest P5 conference in the nation.

Sure but they were good. I don't see why people have to qualify everything if someone gives a team a compliment. Oklahoma under Riley has had some incredible offenses. If you say that someone has to come out of the woodwork to be like "WELL THE DEFENSE SUCKED"..... ok dude, 1) we know and 2) we weren't talking about that

Read the thread title and try to hang on to some context for 5 minutes. Shorthorns are bragging about a BAMA loss. And a gut-wrenching one at that.

Moral victories are what you start threads about on the rant when you've walked in the wilderness for the last 15 years, courtesy of the Crimson Tide.

Austin's "heat" ain't worse than a Tuscaloosa summer, I assure you. Not with the butthole thick schweaty ball-soup air we get.

Austin is quite humid too.
