Because it was solid defense. You are use to soft big 12 officiating.

When the player was down at the 1yd line after the first play of OT? I just watched the OT on the SECN for the first time and they should have had to go to the 1yd line after the 15 yd penalty right? What am I missing?

The personal foul made it first and 10 from the 16.

Alabama then got it to like the 4 for a first down.

Then they ran it again to the 1 or 2. Second down.

Then there was a false start. Second down again from the 6.

Touchdown.

Both guys were hand fighting with each other, and the safety came over and made a great play on the ball.

The safety didn't touch the ball.

I was at the game so I didn't see the call with white that yall keep mentioning, but I watched a replay of overtime and although both may have been handfighting, the DB didn't turn around to make a play on the ball until well after contact was made.

Still, seems like it would be first and 15.

This is what I was thinking but didn't really understand the difference in dead ball situation. Now I get it.

Still say the PI was there but there may have been other no calls and they were just trying to stay consistent.

Do LSU fans think there were no plays during this 60 minute game that could have been called PI on them? The refs let the DBs fight with the WRs all night. That play wasn't a mugging so the refs stayed consistent to how they had called it all game. I'm really sorry your QB didn't run for the first or whoever that was that dropped the sure big play on 1st down in OT, but LSU had chances to make plays and now they want to be bailed out by the refs on a call they hadn't made all night.

I never said he did, but he knocked the shite out of the WR thus causing the ball to no possibly be completed.

I think he means 1st and goal from the 16 yard line.

Dead ball fouls applied on 1st and 10 move the ball back but it's still 1st and 10.

It's always worked that way.

Getting them in the middle of a series is worse as you get the yardage penalty and it applies to the distance to gain.

Of course not, it's either bitch about the schedule and/or refs or admit their program is inferior.

And how was the last play of the game not PI?

Because it wasn't PI

Lol. That was PI.

That said, it's not like Bama got away with one because the refs let LSU commit their fair share of PI too (hell I'm not sure the refs called a single PI of any kind all night).

I think the refs collectively decided that it was going to be a smash mouth game and that they were going to let all but the most egregious fouls slide.

Looked like the WR pushed off, should've been PI no question.
