In the past (so, I can in no way verify if this is still true) saban would openly tell players to stay inside and smoke weed instead of drinking and driving. Source: former player under saban in his first season

Sounds like pretty good advice to me.

I really don't care what Saban does within his football team or for hat matter whether or not the Alabama Administration would pressure Saban, etc. . What I care about is a District Attorney who uses F'd up reasoning to walk away .

If this was any other type of person , black or white who did not play big time athletics, they would be hiring an attorney and preparing a defense and seeing their lives really turned upside down.

Who wants to take bets that Cam Robinson is suspended for the first half of the first game against USC until the QB is being mopped up by some Samoan Trojan? It will not really be a suspension

in the grand scheme of things absolutely. Far less potential for danger or killing someone. Not to overlook the fact he was openly telling players to engage in illegal activities though..

also lol at someone downvoting all my posts in here. Surely a bama fan.

They did hire an attorney. The attorney showed that the evidence gathered was done so illegally and would have to be thrown out in court. After that, there was no case.

The judge saying that air conditioning nonsense was stupid, but the state clearly didn't have much to take to court.

Drug testing by the Russian Track and Field officials?
No, according to the documents, a physician at the Bradford Health Center will do a weekly urinalysis on each of them throughout the summer.

Yea, I was semi-kidding. That doesn't shock me though, perhaps more in a "Shite guy, I'd rather you sit in your rooms and fvckin smoke weed all night than have 3 beers and drive on the road" in one of those angry, probably slightly sarcastic Saban rants. I could EASILY see that.

me too, I certainly wasn't in the room when he said it. Just passing on what a player told me.

Is it possible that those Little Debbie's are actually edibles that he gives to players?

I feel like I just unraveled something big.

Now you know why he didn't want Kirk and Fowler to grab one

Has no one else read the article posted by jatebe on page 2?

Its likely they're going to be suspended until the ongoing investigation in Alabama is finished.

More proof of the integrity of Saban. Les would let his players "vote" instead of punishing in a way to help the young man instead of what was best for his W/L columns.

Saban.

Les suspends players while they are under investigation too.

Try again.
