We’re right behind you at #2 in conference right now. We’ve won the conference more than any other team (4 times) since Pearl has arrived at Auburn.

If you’re not targeting us then you’re apparently not aiming to be the best in the conference.

We are the best in the conference right now. So sit down and shut up.

Ya'll still thinking the students camped out because of Kentucky? Or have you fools realized that the same thing will happen this coming friday night for an out of conference game against an unranked opponent? Because the students want to see Auburn play regardless of opponent. Gotta get in line early to get a seat as a student these days. For normal fans it's easier and cheaper to go to away games.

Your going to beat your chest about being the best team in the conference right now?

That shite can change, quickly.

Sure why not. Why wait? We are the best will finish the best and nothing UK can do about it.

Plus if you are the 2 seed going into the tournament you won't have the legs to hang in the championship game.

So instead of worrying what Auburn thinks about Auburn why not hold your coach responsible for not having 10-12 guy ready to play each weekend since they finish at the top of the conference every year in recruiting.

I have a different take…the thing that makes Kentucky so tough late in the year every year late into the tourney is that the DO get everyone’s best and all the gyms ARE rocking. They are seasoned and tough by the end of the year and that’s what I’m hoping Auburn gets to as well. It makes you a better tougher team when every game is a raucous crowd. To me that would be a reason TO play for Kentucky and one of the things I’d like to see Auburn be. Battle tested. Don’t know why a coach would whine about that. It’s an advantage.

Who knows how long this window lasts, so let these Auburn fans enjoy the season they're having this year.

I think he is essentially saying that. Even though they lost, it will help them in the long run.

I think the answer lies somewhere in the middle as to why Saturday was big.

-It was Kentucky who had been playing really well lately
-It was a chance for Auburn to make history and reach number 1 in the AP poll.
-It was a chance to prove the doubters that slighted us in the previous week’s poll wrong.

The home games against Kentucky most of the past few years weren’t this big in terms of the hype and fan fare.

Honestly does remind me of Texas in a way.

I see a huge difference in this. Kentucky has actually dominated the SEC and won national championships. Texas is a mid level B12 team that has a lot of work to do to compete in the SEC

Yeah it’s called being good. Cal is such a bitch. Nobody wants to go watch Auburn beat up on inferior competition. Obviously ticket prices will be higher when a better team comes to town.

Video in the link.

“Just another game? They sold SRO tickets for $250.”

Guess what Cal? SRO for a unranked non conference opponent is going for $190 right now. It’s an every game thing. A&M game is going for $300.

The guy's telling the truth!
Anybody who doesn't believe that Kentucky is the face of SEC basketball is an ignorant buffoon.
His comment was in reference to a comment made that it wasn't a big game.
Just listen to the first couple of seconds!
