I don’t know the specifics but it never seems to turn out well when a player or coach WAG (or in this case, daughter apparently) gets into it on Twitter like this.

Seems to me what BV is claiming happened doesn't match what Coach Gundy publicly said happened.

I don't think that is the case, Gundy knew he screwed up, and he did what he felt was right. This was out of Venables hands, once it got to the University, it was over. If he had not resigned it seems likely that the OU Diversity Enrichment Program would have a say.
They have five full time staff members and 45+ interns dedicated to issue's like this. It's what universities have become, and now OU is Woke-lahoma
