No way I’m going on a rocket with Bezos’ wife. It’s a 50/50 coin flip at best; either he loves his wife and wants her to return, which would leave you very safe, or he is ready for a new model and a space incident would be the cheapest way possible to fix the situation.

I don’t disagree there, but there’s no law against how you pick a ‘contestant’ for his YouTube stuff, and that doesn’t mean it’s rigged on YouTube.

The difference is, he’s gotta answer to Amazon for this show, and Amazon isn’t going to leave themselves exposed.

That part was so ridiculous. Especially since that dude’s decision earlier saved 3 of the top 10 when he selflessly passed up the million dollars.

The first guy was right to eliminate the women. The women had been loudly saying they were gonna do everything to keep their “sistas” around

*All three were idiots for not taking the million dollars, and removing 1/3 of the contestants left, (around 40 ppl I believe?) … the idea of “integrity” when all but ONE person will eventually get eliminated anyways

We made our way to the grandstands for the last 2.5 hours, it was electric keeping up with the battles in all the classes till the end.

The two Porsches at one point really were in a class of their own darting through the traffic, Dries did a fantastic job catching them as much as he did.

It’s a shame there were so many issues in the night sessions. It was super cold, the cars were on skates coming out the pits on cold tires. Kobayashi put on another show when he got it at night before their car had issues. Dude is super fast, even at his age.

Also, watching Connor Zillich drive is a treat. You can just see his speed vs everyone else when he’s in the car. Drove into one too hot to end their chances, but the kid is electric.

Are there any updates on the progress on getting I-10 reopened from lafayette to Baton Rouge?

I need to get from Lafayette to Slidell and can’t find any good info. 190 seems to be the way for now…

I think he should enter the portal now. Dude already has a natty, and could garner Bryce underwood type money on the open market.

Kid has already shown he could go to the nfl right now, may as well get paid as much as possible over the next 2 seasons he is forced to play in college.

I love both movies, but tend to agree here.

Part 2 would’ve been better if the beginning half was slightly condensed and back half wasn’t as rushed.

Ex) it just immediately cut to Feyd bombing the rocks and his uncle’s line: “Old fashioned Artillery, brilliant” …. What did he actually do different than Raban from earlier in the movie when Raban fired all the missiles at the mountains earlier?

In my past two trips, I flew in and slept in a rental car the first time, then flew right back home, pretty much only sleeping on the plane for 48 hours (I don’t recommend that route)

The second time we went we tent camped outside. It was cold as hell, but it was great, we got there super early on Thursday when the gates opened and got us a perfect spot on the back row, right by the entrance (so no one was behind us & got extra room).

*The problem I’ve noticed now, they’ve taken away the tent camping spots that were closer to the trams and converted them to Arab spots. And the outside tent camping is reduced to the far back corner (which is a long hike to the trams to the infield)

*Id love to get an infield camping spot in the future but they’re hard to come by unless you want to pay a lot more.

For this trip, I figured out what dates this year’s race would be held while watching last year’s race, and booked a vrbo for really cheap about a mile from the track, so we’ll have a spot to easily go back and forth to during the night.
