Both games paid out the Overs by halftime I believe, was easy money. Would’ve been even more but all of my spread bets were cancelled thanks to them not playing a full 4 quarters.
*The MN game was essentially a really bad beat, as they weren’t going to shorten the 4th Q, and ended up with a lightning delay w/ a few mins left and they said screw it and just called the game. SMH.

Generally yes, but espn bet had recently been sending me pretty good promos after not using it for a month or two, make a bet, cash out, and forget about it for another month or so, rinse, repeat.
I guess the ScoreBet will drop some
Good promos once they launch the rebrand.

Mini LED is your answer, the higher end models are reasonably priced and have very high peak nits to handle bright rooms well. And I wouldn’t even look at a tv under 75” (or even 85”), you’ll 100% regret going 65”
*my wife was pissed when the giant arse box the 85” came in, but after a few months even she admits how awesome it is and is glad we went bigger than 65”.
I’ve been very pleased with my Hisense U7N I got last year. The U8 series is even better
But the 7 series was the sweet spot for price last year

I interviewed for a higher up position @ LD a few years ago. I almost guarantee you it would take you quite a while to find someone walking around that campus who knew who Nick Saban was. Giant corporate campus that was nice, but place is a strange Seventh Day Adventist Cult.
*I still eat little Debbie’s though, btw. That cult churns out some delicious treats

Chad mentioned it many times throughout the season, anytime things are going good God Fists his butt.
The last episode was just another Fisting moment for him, but he eventually embraced the fact that he’s not a good person, but they were too far invested to blow it all up, shackling him and Coach Rickey together.

Once they spent 10+ mins on a basketball camp scene and name dropping Angel Reese over and over, the movie was dead to me.
That entire point could’ve easily started @ his team grabbing him and rushing him to the beast. So many wasted mins there showing us Broll of President idris for no reason other than “girl power! WNBA! Yay”

Using the new job offset clause as leverage to guarantee money and not have to work anymore vs getting a new contract at a new school, that you have to work for and only collecting maybe 20% of the rest of this contract.
re: Rumors about Florida’s interest in Kiffin

I feel like once coaches start making near $10m/year a year, the ability to lure them away for even a better perceived job is going to get harder and harder. - FL offers $13m/yr, if OM counters in the $11-$12 range with an extra year or two, why leave and start over?
If Indiana can pay a coach $11.5m a year, the value of leaving for a slightly more prestigious job becomes less appealing. In the NIL era, and transfer rules now, I don’t think coaches will stay in the profession as long as in the past. Get that giant guaranteed bag as young as possible and ride off into the sunset or try and become an nfl assistant. Having to sell 18-19-20 year olds 24/7 has got to get old

re: Are we witnessing the end of college football as we know it?
Posted by BlueWaffleHouse on 10/21/25 at 9:25 pm to AG87
The answer is “kindof”
In this new era, coaches that aren’t big X’s & O’s guys will be exposed a lot more as teams figure out how to offload the recruiting and team mgmt stuff to a program ceo / General Manager
We went from paying players under the table and using the arms race of facilities and tradition to recruit kids to school, to now; it’s solely about the money, + the mobility option of the transfer portal to find a good fit has turned the entire year into a recruiting process for now Transfers, Returning Guys, along with HS recruits…
Consequently, I think we see more of the older coaches that have been in the meat grinder for longer say “screw it” once they get that big contract/buyout secured & only worry about getting fired for cause to collect their checks and nope out
*It aligns with the steep falloff so fast of programs like Penn st, Ok St, (BK to a degree doesn’t truly care about lsu and winning, tbh)

I stopped paying attention after about 30-40 mins. I appreciate that it wasn’t an origin story, but not being a comic book nerd, I had no idea who most of the characters were.
re: Can we call up Ensminger to come fix the offense?
Posted by BlueWaffleHouse on 10/5/25 at 11:50 am to Goalpost
It’s the playcalling. The OLine can’t shoot off the line with the read option, and all the defense has to do is cue in on the rbs since they know Nuss isn’t a running threat.
We may have success in both the running and the passing game if we utilized more traditional formations and could take advantage of play action

Sadly, Walsh is probably #1 on the Left’s hit list, then Shapiro, but I imagine guys like Crowder, Tim Poole, and even Clay & Buck are probably real shook up over this. It could’ve easily been any of them all thanks to these Left Wing nut jobs.

Does she speak out against this “sexualization” of women when the players show up glammed out and barely wearing anything for their pregame runway stadium entrances? Almost like they care more about how they look than playing the game, so why should we care?

The man was told not to go in there multiple times by the staff. and supposedly heard his wife screaming for someone to help her get up off the table, and he just decided to rush in there.
Seems like they’ll have security cameras and a number of eyewitnesses to corroborate when the woman tries to sue them.

I can buy that the pics were actually her, but 8 years of being prostituted and as the internet and social media started to gain traction in the early 2000s, if she was being controlled by some sophisticated criminal organization, keeping her around and alive wouldn’t make much sense, especially now with all the new heat this has brought up

Kassouf has cranked the mania level up a notch. He’s a psychopath l yes, but the dude has figured out how to be the short stack for a day and a half now, probably bagging an additional $120k-$200k from when he should’ve been knocked out.
He has everyone terrified of losing a showdown with him and keeping him around longer, and the dude is about to survive another level with one more out to $300k
