I think it is a mistake for AU to suspend him. These events didn't happen at Auburn and Auburn is not fully informed of the charges and circumstances. The "prudent and cautious" approach almost is convicting an individual before a trial. Today you are guilty until proven innocent. He can not do any harm to the program or the individuals by continuing doing his job until this is adjudicated.

For example:
Will Wade had to pay recruits to go to LSU which is cheating as defined by NCAA bylaws
Ira Bowan got paid for the privilege of recruits to go to UPenn which is not cheating as defined by NCAA by laws
