Losses are normal after a coaching change


Be thankful - instead of dirty preacher snake oil salesman you got a competent coach that will do a good job rebuilding your roster with good players.

We had back to back top 10 classes despite losing seasons the last 2 years. Our class this year sucks on paper due to (1) it was always going to be a small class, (2) Hugh completely mailed it in this spring.

Point being, if Auburn has a somewhat engaged coach, they will recruit top 15 easily, and past history shows that.

Teams don’t categorically avoid veer/shoot WRs, they’re just harder to evaluate & have the steepest learning curve.
