Not a huge issue. Teams build through the portal now and it takes longer to establish recruiting contacts.

Obviously he isn't or he wouldn't keep donating money for the AD to hatch the football program for so long.

The same post wrapped in a different bow for every day of December? Holy Groundhog Day, Stidham.

Auburn is a basketball school now. Have you not been paying attention?

Seems crazy to me you could lose a star to injury.

AU boosters are the biggest problem AU faces other than almost every other SEC team. It's like they are trying to win with a bunch of crazy semi-rich SBC deacons micromanaging their program.

Not that I hope any get injured but if a star player gets injured then there are alot who never play at the same level again. That makes them a risk and you can't rank them for sure til they play again. It's a gamble if a 5 star is ever that good in college either way. It's a saver bet on the tankers to drop them some than say it's nothing after a major injury.

Could be worse. Could be Penn State, who had a solid early signing day of two… TWO recruits

Coleman would be a great fit for the Ags.

Even teams like UF have this issue. There seems like layers of people causing issues at Auburn with trying to control everything.

Losing your high school kids you had committed wouldn't worry me as much, coaching changes tend to do that.
But losing players you already have on the roster would make me hit the panic button. That would make me inquire about what's going on internally regardless of NIL. Once you made the hire the portal hits were bound to come.

About to lose 5 star WR Cam Coleman

Given his half assed performance in the Iron Bowl, I'd tell him not to let the door hit his vag on the way out.

Perry Thompson isnt that good.

.....and was making big NIL money. I get the feeling he was told he wasn't in the plans moving forward. People freaking out about losing some player that only saw the field when somebody else was hurt is comical.

No chance you’re really an Auburn fan. All you ever do is whine. It was reported today that Auburn would have 30m for NIL. Auburn will be fine. You may not be, but that has nothing to do with Auburn.

Auburn definitely doesn't have the recruiting power it used to.
