I think Arkansas should fire Pittman, make Bobby interim and then tell Bobby they feel really good about him and that they should be able to get something done at season's end.

Then they should take the team plane out in dark of night and go try to hire Gus Malzahn. And hope Arkansas fans don't find out what's going on with a flight tracker and blow everything up.

Does anyone think it's kind of slimy for BP to lobby for the Arkansas job before his boss is fired? Just seems wrong as far as loyalty goes.

I think it’s ridiculous that people believe every rumor they read on the internet about anything without facts or reliable sources.

I’ll believe it when it’s verified by qualified individuals at the university.

But y’all keep slandering these people if that’s what turns you on.

Petrino is a genuinely bad person.

He's a great play caller and offensive mind, but a despicable human. I would never want him to be the head coach of a program I support. It won't end well.

the only connection bobby has with your university is the paycheck. End of story. you are giving him way too much credit. the dude sees an opportunity to take the head coaching job...again.

I might just be scarred from last year but Arkansas looks halfway dangerous and I wouldn’t be shocked to see them take out Notre Dame in Fayettnam

He was given a chance to stay with conditions. He told the AD where he could stick those conditions so Long fired him.

Without exception, every Hog friend I know was hopeful Bobby would take over when Pitman prematurely retires.

They knew why he was hired.
He knew why he was hired.
Pitman knew why he was hired.

He is too old. That is what you are trying to say. I agreed with you. This is the same for Nick Saban and Bill Belichick.

The dive was working until the fumble. He can’t control a ball being punched out. If the fumble doesn’t happen 2 weeks in a row, hogs may very well be undefeated right now…

Then why fire Pittman? Did he tell them to fumble?

If Arky is that close and you have less liability with Petrino at OC, then what's the point in firing Sam just to hire him?
