Kinda sounded like a backhanded jab at the talent level of his own guys if anything.

Bo Nix isn't a message board poster so my guess is he doesn't think out every quote to reporters as a chance to troll.

I like how people try to diminish a Bama player because of the "talent around him"...yet when recruiting rankings are calculated, these same people always say Bama recruits get inflated and bumped up without warrant.
Can't have it both ways.
Last time I checked, Ohio St, Clemson, Georgia, etc also have elite talent around their QBs...yet it's only used as a negative for Bama guys for some reason.
