Those are the five schools hoarding most of the good recruits so I guess that's a safe prediction

Switch our Georgia for Florida and I agree.

Nice edit ?
Any reason why you had UGA above Gumps? Both will be breaking in new QB's. Both lost a boatload to the draft.
I was giving Georgia's defense the upper hand but then I remembered they lost some guys from it, plus Swift and Cager, new dude doesnt have an offseason, new OC doesnt have an offseason, and their defense got its reputation in 2019 against mostly crappy teams.

IMO, neither will win their divisions of the SEC.

Oklahoma isn't on this level. TCU had more draft picks this year than OU did.

A&M are not in this conversation currently, not even the dark horse category

Step 1 of Auburn winning it all: discount Auburn

It’s actually becoming a problem that so few teams can really compete at the top end. Sadly the only realistic way to fix it is to continue to expand the playoff.

Why not?
The return the most production of anyone in the SEC, sure they got blown out by Alabama and LSU but neither one of those teams will be the same in 2020.
A&M played Georgia, Auburn, and Clemson tough so I think they have to be in the conversation.

Dude is delusional
No way can Ellis Shue lose 14 draftees plus other key players and compete for the CFP
The Tiiiigahs don't have enough proven guys at Key positions to make a run like that again
You can't just assume the guys with no big game experience are gonna be just as experienced as the previous guys and you can't just assume that the 14 replacements plus other key guys are all worthy of being drafted, that loss of concentrated talent on 1 squad will lead to upsets and unexpected losses
Ellis Shue is the one that doesn't belong on this list

LSU doesnt have to be as good as they were in 2019 because no one in the SEC is as good as they were in 2019 either.
The closest exception is A&M and LSU beat them by 43 points.
That said, I dont think LSU wins a championship in 2020.

What? They lost like 13 starters.
Both sides on the LOS and their DB's.
Gus has a tough task ahead of him.

He is stupid.
Georgia and Ohio State should be nowhere near that list.
Honestly, LSU probably shouldn’t be on it either.

i guess I agree but I wonder why folks think LSU can win it all with all they lost including their OC in name

I'd put LSU as the last on that list likely to win.
2020 will be a weird year though.
