Like everyone says, LSU just doesn't fit any type of definition of 'one-hit wonder', so it's a dumb comment. The one-year aberration is the BAD year, not the good one.
Shocking Disaster, that fits.
LSU has 2020; 5-5 the season after one of the greatest years in history.
I mentioned Ohio State 2011- they went 6-7, while every other season since 2005 they had at least 10 wins (other than 2020, where they just didn't play enough games, but went undefeated and made the playoff finals).
Anyone else put up an "oh, frick" year?

Yeah, LSU’s 2019 team was awesome but to say it was a one-hit wonder since 2000 is dumb.

So how is it that multiple titles in 16 years equals a "one hit wonder"?

Or 2005 Texas?
Texas won the Rose Bowl the previous year and finished 11-1. They followed ‘05 up with more 10-win seasons and were back in natty contention in a couple of years.
Weren’t they also the winningest power program of the decade?

If you hit 2019 LSU with that moniker
I mean, it’s still retarded that they put that.
Hell, 2003 LSU would be a better example if they were hell bent on putting the Tigers in there.

LSU won a Fiesta Bowl (right?) the year before their 2019 national title…I don’t know about this…feel like LSU getting graded differently here.

I see Daniel mentioned 8 times in your last 20 posts. What's your insecurity with them?

I call out the cum guzzler, because like you, he’s helped you gumps ruin this site. English is not your first language is it? Why are you even worried about it? Is he sucking your dick too?

None of that really fits the definition of a "one hit wonder" team.
Except the criteria they used means 2019 LSU fits it perfectly. This isn't rocket science.

I didn’t post a single damn thing about LSU, you insecure arse clown.
But guess what... There’s not a single fricking thing you can do about it either way. I run the show. You’re a peon. A nobody. And your team fricking sucks.
What do you think about that, gay boy?

Guess your reputation now precedes you. I would assume if LSU or Auburn weren’t listed you would have still posted? LOL
The fact that this topic is still rolling only proves posters like yourself have ruined our sacred forum.
Just playing with you, baw. You one of the good ones.

Even outside of LSU this makes no sense, Baylor almost made the playoffs in 14

How is the 2019 LSU national title a one hit wonder? LSU has won 3 nattys in the last 18 years and played in 4 (the one bama backed into despite not even winning it's division of the sec bc LSU had beaten them at their place earlier in the season to win it). We will win more titles as well. So, how exactly is LSUs title in 2019 a one hit wonder?

I honestly think it’s too early to tell. If they continue to suffer like last season, then sure. Under ‘O’ specifically, they’d be a one-hit wonder.
I feel like as it stands this minute, 2019 LSU could be like 2002 Ohio State. 00-01 Buckeyes lost Outback Bowls, then went 14-0, then in ‘03 they beat KState in the Fiesta Bowl to finish 11-2. Then in ‘04 they go 8-4 with an Alamo Bowl win over Les’s pokes.
Obviously, OSU rose back up to national title contender, and the future for LSU will unfold in due time.
Of the posted list, 2007 Kansas is the epitome of 1-hit wonder.
