2019 Coaching staff......

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama head coach Nick Saban announced the addition of seven assistant coaches Friday, including Steve Sarkisian as the offensive coordinator and the promotion of Pete Golding to defensive coordinator.

2020 Coach Staff

After back-to-back years of mass transition, Alabama avoided a major shakeup in its coaching staff this season. The Crimson Tide saw defensive line coach Brian Baker, strength coach Scott Cochran and longtime assistant Burton Burns leave the program. Meanwhile, Alabama welcomed back Freddie Roach as its new defensive line coach while bringing in David Ballou as its director of sports performance and Dr. Matt Rhea as its director of performance science.

Along with Golding and Sarkisian, the Crimson Tide added Brian Baker (associate head coach/defensive line), Charles Huff (associate head coach/running backs), Charles Kelly (associate defensive coordinator/safeties), Kyle Flood (offensive line), Sal Sunseri (outside linebackers) and Holmon Wiggins (wide receivers).

"We are excited to be able to assemble such a talented group of coaches to develop our players both on and off the field," Saban said. "These coaches have a great mix of energy, enthusiasm and experience that will be a tremendous asset to our program. They are all excellent teachers of the game and fantastic recruiters who bring a wealth of experience to our staff."

2018 Staff

It has already been a wacky off-season with the departures of Alabama’s offensive coordinator Brian Daboll to the Buffalo Bills, defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt to Tennessee, and Derrick Ansley to Colorado State the Oakland Raiders. However, the Crimson Tide coaching staff for 2018 seems to be set. Nick Saban will have five new assistants to work with.

As I said....your coach, team, and administration couldn't handle success.

You posted snippets of different articles but didn't name the 4-6 coaches that were replaced every year.

You also didn't address your blatant lie earlier in the topic

It seems people are extremely confused about the criteria here.

This isn't that complicated. If you had a great season followed by a markedly less great season, you're on the list. I have no problem with 2010 Auburn being on it.

That isn't the definition of a "one hit wonder" though.

LSU fell further and failed more the year after a title than any team has in my lifetime, so they definitely qualify.

Interesting how Bammers use the "no cupcake" argument when stating that 2020 Bama was the GOAT team yet forget it when trashing 2020 LSU.

Skippy you're so full of shite I can smell you over Al Gore's interwebz.

You're team failed like none other so just accept The Facts and get ready for 2021.

Hell Bama's 2016 and 2018 teams won 14 games each after a NC in 2015 and 2017 but no 5 and 5 for them.

Do yourself a favor and stop digging or go to Home Depot and get another shovel.

Damn, now we get poorly worded deflections when the poster is asked to prove his claims that "Bama replaces 4-6 coaches every year."

This after he falsely claimed that Alabama replaces 17/22 starters and 40 players overall "every year."

So I guess we really know who is "full of shite."

Only if you're framing it in terms of "programs" rather than teams.

No one with any sense doubts LSU has been good for the last decade and a half.

If you're framing it in terms of "teams" like this article claims to do, 2018 LSU went 10-3, won a NY6 bowl, and finished #6 in the nation with an inexperienced team.

Most of that team returned and won a title.

Most of that team left and LSU went 5-5.

None of that really fits the definition of a "one hit wonder" team.

in all fairness to 2010 Auburn, 2013 Auburn is probably more deserving

I guess the argument is that 2019 LSU won differently from other LSU squads and was also a cut above even the 2003, 2007, and 2011 teams.
Bama has only one undefeated full season

I guess they are a One Hit Wonder

The 14 team wasn't bad.

My vision goes red and I enter a fugue state any time anyone mentions Ellis Johnson though.
