Being sooner born I have a natural hate for ND although, I can't say why, I just do. But as someone who has spent a lot of time around texass fans because Oklahoma is infested with them and have attended my fair share of RRS games, it's 100% texass that are the biggest douchebags. That said, some are cool and are friends but most aren't

This. Texas is the destroyer of worlds when it comes to conferences. They also don't play by the same rules as others. Texas has significant power because they are such a huge investment for ESPN and they are so tied in with the media. They also have a lot of power academically and money is never a barrier for them. A&M is probably the only school that has ever truly stood up to them and won because we have some leverage on them politically.

SEC schools are used to working together towards a common interest and then fighting amongst each other. For Texas it is always only Texas, everyone else is a peasant.

Notre Dame is similar but in a more private school snob kind of way. They are much friendlier when you visit their campus though and are more reserved about it. Make no mistake though they think their shite doesn't stink and they are a special snowflake.

I'm guessing you don't talk to people like this in real life? Or perhaps you just like to fight and are pretty good at it.

In this thread, I have yet to see a reason why Texas is hated other than just raw jealousy. Can anybody point to some specific dirty thing, that doesn't amount to standard politicking?

Texas is the douchebag capitol, whereas Notre Dame is a bastion of tantrum throwing children who haven't heard the word "no" often enough to be able to cope with disappointment constructively.
