Wow, did not know that. Shows you how ignorant I am. I’ll learn to keep my mouth shut next time, at least before I research what I think I know. By the way, I’m old per my grandsons. Thanks for the schooling.
If you were a sergeant, Ole Sarge, which I believe you were, you have a lot of hatred for your enemy, Texas. You should know that hatred for your enemy accomplishes nothing. Respect him and want to destroy him every time you meet him on the gridiron. A large percentage of your posts are about the Texas Longhorns. Oh, by the way, if you were in the USA armed forces, thanks for your service to this great nation of ours.

But yet beat Texas A&M.
You’re not wrong, but with this playoff system every coach and team has to lobby for themselves. I hate watching Texas beg, but I do understand and get it. Remember when Texas was placed over Cal Berkeley in the 2005 Rosebowl against Michigan. It was the fact that Mack Brown was begging the football gods (media and coaches) and it worked. Cal went on to get smoked by Texas Tech in the Holiday Bowl. Texas beat Michigan in a BCS game.
I enjoy college football and love watching the Aggies and Sooners; however, the Horns are still the team I pull for. That being said, I do not understand your post, when Texas has beaten you two years in a row, and only two years in the conference. Yes, Texas can act like elitists at times, but I see a lot of Aggies on this board crowing. I will be pulling for you and the Sooners in the playoffs. I hope you both have a great showing.
Utah and BYU x 2. However, Tech could very well be overrated. I hope they are legit, but we will see in the playoffs. You and others on this post might be spot on.
I believe you are correct. Per capita the State of Georgia puts more players in the NFL. Texas puts more players in
D-1 football. However, if you were shopping for olympian athletes, no other state comes close to California. Now after saying all of this, I believe the question was if you could only recruit two states. California, Texas and Florida, but not necessarily in this order and it would change each year based on the needs of the team. Louisiana and Mississippi produce great football players but have a much smaller population. If Kiffin can keep the talent in state, LSU will win some championships, because he can cherry pick Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Georgia. LSU roster mostly Louisianans. Of course, this would be true for other schools like USC, #1 recruiting class.
Wow! I watched the entire video and I wanted to play for Texas Tech. Very motivational
Texas wants a potential recruit who loves the university and wants to play at Texas. Last year we stole a defensive lineman from Georgia, listed as a 5 star. If the truth be known, we probably offered the young man more money. I really do not know. In this time, with NIL and open portal, I believe it is about money for most of these young men who are listed as some of the very best players at their position (4star-5star players). NIL, my opinion only, will destroy the game I have loved since a child. It is about the money. A prime example of this is Oregon. Not one player from the State of Oregon. All bought and payed for by Mr. Phil Knight, owner of Nike.
You’re probably more knowledgeable of that than I am. If you look up team recruiting rankings, you will see the average amount spent per player to the far right. Knight has previously stated he wants a championship team before he dies (he is 86 years old, I believe). FYI: Texas spent approximately $157,000 per player.
This is easy. Bama played an extra game that Texas did not. Bama would be 10-3, while Texas sits at 9-3. Bama beat Georgia in regular season, Texas did not. Bama would be 1-1 against Georgia, Texas would be 0-1. This is going to hurt me to say and I will have to shower immediately after I post this, but Bama would have to be placed before my Horns.
I was beaten to the punch. Obviously Phil Knight and the fact the school spent an average of $260,000 per recruit this year. More than any other school in the USA. The State of Oregon does not produce great football players, they buy them.
Kiffin was loved and worshipped by Ole Miss fans while at Ole Miss. As soon as he announced he was taking the LSU job and leaving Ole Miss, the fans hated him and claimed he was scum. Trump was worshipped by the Hollywood elites and the media when he had the show “The Apprentice.” They all thought he was brilliant. When he ran for president on the Republican ticket, the same elites and media hated him, claiming he was horrible man, who had his wealth handed to him.
You really need to step back and calm down. You write extremely angry. I would assume you are probably an educator are have a lot in common. Yes, I can defend this young woman and yes I can say I find her strong and beautiful. You don’t tell me how I can write and I won’t lecture you. Obviously I hit a button and you have come unglued. You can come at me with a strong argument and I can respect that. However, your rebuttal is nothing but hatred and anger. As far as the graduate student is concerned, better men than him have gone by the wayside for their actions. I would not wish that upon any man, but we all know our actions have consequences. Just like my post, I knew there would be people like you, who would not just attack my opinion, but would be extremely hateful in their attack. Hey, all good, I am willing to accept that. Remember, for every action is a reaction. You take care and have a great day.
Yes, thank you. I sent him an apology.
Wow, you must be a philosopher. Did I poop in a pool? Act like a man, not a child. I must be a philosopher too.
I’m so sorry, please forgive me. I misread you post or what I thought was your post.
Tell what is political about my statement tough guy.
