Always loved Baum, Founders, and Swayze the most. They manage to balance environments that are both professional in terms of size and noise while still maintaining that quintessential college feel.
Dudy Noble is just impressive, almost in its own category.
Blue Bell and Box are fine, certainly better than most all stadiums and unique in their own right.

quote:Texas has literally won more national championships in the last 2 years than any other school in the country, not to mention more national titles than any other SEC school in history by a wide margin, and because of the former, they've been named the No. 1 athletic department in the country the last two years
They talk about all their all time wins too, yet so little hardware to show for it.
hard concept to grasp for someone rotting away from dementia, I'm sure. Albeit, you are the same person that told me Baylor and West Virginia were the same school once, so I guess I should've seen this coming
quote:So we agree: Texas is tied for No. 1 in the SEC with most national championships in baseball, and will be the No. 1 athletic department overall once they join considering they have the most hardware
This is the SEC, at the end of the day it is those Natty trophies that matter more than all time wins.
Glad we're on the same page there

This is the only hardware that donghorn fans care about anymore
Don't worry, xwing/daniel/mackdaddy/texag7/pickledoc or whatever current alter he is using will be along shortly to tell us how great they used to be. Gotta admire the guy's endurance though. On this site at 10pm last night and back on again at 8am.

Maybe LSU at the OLD Box. The new box is a morgue, and it has been since they opened it

Nice try, State and Arkansas are interchangeable at #1 with LSU coming in at 3rd. The atmosphere in Oxford is really good, but not better than State, Arky or LSU.

Maybe I'm weird but throwing beer in the air doesn't make an atmosphere.

Nothing says atmosphere like Ole Miss having their right field 30 yards away from the actual fence.. Real intimidating.

This! As a homer, I think Baum has the best atmosphere, but the State stadium is so stinkin sexy. I'd say they are a tie.

I think the top 4 are pretty interchangeable. Duby Noble is the best stadium of the 4 and I don't think it's particularly close. LSU has led baseball in attendance almost every year for decades. Arkansas is probably 2nd to State for Stadium and I think their attendance even beat LSU this year. Ole Miss stadium lags behind the others but I'd say the atmosphere and even tho some might think beer showers are stupid, it's unique and is a cool site to see in a big game when an Ole Miss player hits a bomb. Even as an Ole Miss fan I'd probably put us 4th but those 4 are all pretty close right now.

yeah, it's back a ways, but the atmosphere is undeniably rowdy, especially for a big SEC series.
what else besides the length between the fence and the student section in right field?

You found a pic of 1/2 of 1% of the enrollment at A&M supporting "pride".

State has had 22 of the top 25 on-campus college baseball crowds. The other 3 are LSU and Arky.

Do you think pure attendance should equate the best atmosphere?
