Most Wins in School History
Alabama - Bear Bryant
LSU - Charles McClendon
Bear Bryant's Record Against LSU: 16-4
Charles McClendon's Record Against Alabama: 2-14
Current Coaches
Alabama - Nick Saban
LSU - Les Miles
Nick Saban's Record Against LSU: 5-3
Les Miles' Record Against Alabama: 5-5
Judging by precedent, I think Alabama wins. It's apparently not kosher at LSU to have a winning record against Bama.

Precedent?
Is this a court case or a football game?
"rightful place", etc

I'm just glad a Bama fan didn't start this thread. It's bad enough one started the TS at night player stat thread.

Saban's record against Bama while at LSU: 4-1
This series with Saban on either sideline: LSU 7-6
What's 2 + 7? 9
9-6
We win tomorrow

I don't know who will win, but I do know all these past records have nothing to do with it. Each team is unique and they will change their level of play from game to game, quarter to quarter, and play by play.
I think that is why all of us love the game.

Bama Math.. Doesn't it typically add extra numbers instead of missing them ?

Uh, noooooooo.
Saban only coached from 2000-2004 at LSU and had
ONE season with less than 3 losses.
*His predecessor, Gerry Dinardo, had many more NFL draft choices from his teams than Saban did from his (which shows that Saban "won with Dinardo's players").
And most people forget that only 2 years before Saban came to Baton Rouge, Dinardo had won 27 games and 3 straight bowl victories from 1995-1997.
Furthermore, LSU was #12 in number of NCAA victories and #10 in bowl appearances ""BEFORE"" Saban came to LSU. (We are #10 and #8 now, thanks to Les Miles.)
Furthermore:
*Bernie Moore coached many more years than Saban (or Miles for that matter) and had 3 Top 5 ranked teams and 3 SEC Titles.
*Paul Dietzel had a National Title and 2 SEC Championships in his 7 seasons.
*Charlie McClendon had 8 top Ten teams and 2 SEC Titles in his 17 seasons ast LSU.
* `Ahem` Les Miles.
-Has coached a decade at LSU (actully in his 11th season.)
-Is the winningest coach in college football since 2005.
-Has averaged over 10 victories per year.
-Has led LSU to five Top 5 finishes, 1 national title, 2 BCSNCG appearances, 2 SEC titles, 3 SEC title appearances and 3 SEC West titles.
-After a Monday night loss to Tennessee in 2005, led LSU to 11 consecutive victories while playing 12 consecutive weeks WITHOUT A BYE,, and the SECCG.
Saban isn't even CLOSE to being the best coach at LSU. In fact, that's quite laughable......
Who are the best coaches in UCLA and Florida history ??
Terry Donahue? Jim Harrick?
Doug Dickey? Will Muschamp?
