I’m going to miss playing Texas A&M. My son thinks they are an automatic W every year when he predicts States schedule.

I think State gets Ole Miss, keeps Kentucky and draws freaking Alabama.

Arkansas: 5 that make sense. Texas, LSU, OU, A&M, and Ole Miss.
Mark my words, we will be stuck with Missouri instead of one of those.

I think Arkansas and Missouri definitely go together. Proximity wise it just makes sense.

Why would UK and UGA be perms. We want Tennessee Vanderbilt and South Carolina.

Honestly I like this. Our fans bicker on social, but I really do enjoy playing UK, the "rivalry" has kicked up a bit.

as an SC fan I want UGA, UF, UK

Ark will get TX OU and Mizz.

I think Texas and Mizzou are sure bets. I would much rather have LSU, A&M or Ole Miss over OU however.

My wishlist would be some combo of Texas, LSU, Ole Miss or A&M.

My man... I have family who live
off Highland close to the stadium. Been going to Red Stick since 80's. Use to be able to park at old Knapp Hall as long as you stayed off the roots of the oak trees. Now days my old arse has to park out by Walk-On's. Two days of golf at Santa Maria with you rascals, best food in the SEC and always a party. If we lose this rivalry I will have to go to detox!!!!!!

I don't want to lose it either but I'm afraid it's about to happen. Would prefer to keep Bama, Auburn and UF as permanent rivals.

I feel pretty confident that Georgia’s 3 permanents are SC, FL, & AU. Frankly it’s probably the most definitive 3 in the league. I’m almost as confident that AL gets MSU, TN, & AU.

I’m the least certain of LSU & Missouri. I’d think they’d give LSU Ole Miss and 2 of 3 from FL, MSU, & aTm.

And I’d think they give Missouri ARK & OK but I have no idea who their 3rd team would be.

Mizzou fans would want USC/Kentucky/Vandy most likely, but given that we are often the odd man out in the SEC we will probably just get stuck with whomever is left and needs a partner...which in a lot of predictions I have seen has been Mississippi State

What completely moronic imbecile would think Kentucky could be our third permanent opponent?

Those moronic imbeciles who have no knowledge of reports out there that list Kentucky as one possibility for UGA. That's who.

If ESPN is controlling all this, they’d be wise to make Auburn, LSU, Georgia, and Bama each others 3 permanent rivals. If money is the motivator, ensuring these 4 teams all play every year would bring in the bucks via viewership for sure.

Missouri-Mississippi State just seems like an odd pairing.

selfishly, should my daughter wind up going to Arky, I would much prefer to have the home and home with them vs. State.

Hence why that report from The Athletic is probably accurate. Alabama's permanent opponents will be Auburn and Tennessee due to long-standing rivalries and Mississippi State due to it being a long-standing rivalry (we've played them more than any other SEC squad) and also due to proximity. Our campuses are only 80 miles apart.

See I take Sankeys comments to mean LSU and Alabama will be permanents whereas I previously had figured it wouldn't be the case. Nobody will give a shite if State and Alabama is lost. The ESPN networks will now have exclusive access to the LSU Alabama game. They're not going to want that one to go away.

So 1. It really sounds like they are definitely moving to the 3-6 plan. 2. For OU that means OU and Mizzou for long standing rivalry games, and Arkansas for proximity.

South Carolina wants UGA, UT and Kentucky. It just means more .... especially "more common sense."

UT probably gets Bama, Vandy and Kentucky so rather than Tennessee Gamecock fans would probably settle for Vandy over UT or whatever.

Arkansas is a natural for Mizzou, A&M and Texas.

A&M needs Texas, LSU and Arkansas ... or Oklahoma?

Holy cow this is complicated.

It's not doable at three, it needs-to-be four permanent opponents.
