Jealous that our brothers at Bama, South Carolina and Tennessee all get to throw the Horns down as they beat Texas mercilessly.

Imagine playing the #3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 teams yet it's an "easy" schedule.
The structure admittedly is really nice. We get UK at home and Mizzou on the road as our first two series. Gives a huge buffer for guys to find their roles and young guys to get conference game experience before getting into the grinder.

Lsu get then in Houston at the tourney & A&M in Austin midweek.

They have 5 SEC teams (9 games) on the schedule. And yet they only play 2 ranked SEC teams/games.

The three-game series weekend was a great change, just wish they'd take it a step further.

Looks like yall do the vs. Clemson, vs. Clemson at a neutral site, and @ Clemson thing which is what we do with GTU.

but it looks like Mizzou wins for the toughest conference schedule.

possibly, but the difference between the most difficult and easiest is marginal. Any conference schedule in the SEC is brutal. Not really digging our home schedule, though. We go on the road to Arkansas, Vandy, State and Florida

It's a shame Arkansas and Tennessee don't play in conference this year

I'm sure DVH will miss giving Vitello a warm bottle of milk and tucking him into bed each night.

I graduated from State with the guy behind this account and he does a great job. He's definitely earned the follow of everyone who follows baseball on here. You'd think he would be associated with the league with how sharp his material and marketing is, but the guy does it all on his own with the help of some writers.

I don't know if Missouri wins more than one non-conference series

The Round Rock Classic should be fun but I wish our OOC home schedule was better. At least maybe it'll give us some time to figure out our pitching rotation.

Rob's OOC schedules went about like this.

Open with an Ivy or Northern School at home.

Even Years:
West Cost Opponent at Home, Location Tournament (Houston, Frisco, or Round Rock)

Odd Years:
West Coast Trip (Pepperdine, Santa Clara, CSF, Fresno St, etc)

Usually two more mediocre teams with one being somewhat local (TX, LA). He liked to find division winners of weaker conferences.

Then midweek we load up on tu, TCU, UH, Rice for big games, but also play small Texas schools like UTSA, HBU, UTA, Sam, SFA, etc.

At least we get to go there next year.

State doesn't have a marquee OOC weekend series, but we do play a 2 game midweek series in Biloxi vs Texas Tech who should be top 10 team.

I’m pretty jealous that y’all get a Biloxi series and Ole Miss doesn’t.

I kind of like how UF/FSU play multiple midweek games at different locations.

UGA and Tech used to do this (1 midweek game on each campus and the third was at the Atlanta Braves stadium).

Now, we do what Clemson and USCe do (3 game weekend series with the same split on venues as before).

Aggy didn't even get invited to the Shriners Classic in Houston

Maybe if they ever make it to a CWS championship series, they'll actually be considered.
