I wish the Vols could play LSU that weekend. Hopefully they just kick their arse in the hotel.

Vandy with the trip to Hawaii. Nice.

Also, looks like Kentucky is playing the Washington Football Team for some reason.

State doesn't have a marquee OOC weekend series, but we do play a 2 game midweek series in Biloxi vs Texas Tech who should be top 10 team.

Could be. Depends on how much they're allowed to go out and about.

Also, this is my annual bitch about the Clemson series. We do it Home-Away-Neutral every year. I'd rather it be a traditional series where it's three at home one year and three away the next.

Ive heard Hawaii has the most stringent Covid regulations of any State in the US.

I just did a quick glance, but it looks like Mizzou wins for the toughest conference schedule. Per D1 Baseball EIGHT ranked opponents! Alabama is next with 7. Most everyone else with 6. It looks like Arkansas, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee only have 5. Of those 5, Arkansas gets 4 at home. I think they win the most favorable schedule on paper.

We used to do split series (2 home, 1 away or 1 home, 2 away) with tu and Baylor back in the Big 12. I guaranteed a home game with both every season. It was an interesting idea, but I prefer true home and away.

I kind of like how UF/FSU play multiple midweek games at different locations.

Lots of great midweek games for most of the SEC. The problem is, you don't see top pitching those games.

Makes sense given what our schedule looked like last year. Pendulum is swinging this year. Definitely a welcome luxury considering it's probably gonna take some time to get pitching figured out.

Imagine playing the #3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 teams yet it's an "easy" schedule.

We have had all of our Hawaii trips cancelled and conducted via VTC since March 2020. My company isn't going to pay for the per diem and hotel for the quarantine period.

It sucks, because were optimistic of late Feb trip until DeltaGammaChiOmicron variant took off. Now it is 4.5 days of 8 hour VTCs starting at 2PM Eastern because the Hawaii office is still "hosting" the event.

We used to do the same with Clemson. They were all mid-week games which made it worse because no one was using their best pitchers.

The three-game series weekend was a great change, just wish they'd take it a step further.

It's a shame Arkansas and Tennessee don't play in conference this year
