Bama's secondary

There's a lot of talk about the secondary of Bama and how Brandon Harris hasn't faced a defensive backfield like what he will see in BDS tomorrow night against Bama.
But what about the secondary of UF?
I mean, surely no one believes Hargreaves III, Tabor, Poole, Neal, Wilson, Maye, and company are just bottom of the barrel as far as pass defense is concerned. Or that the UF secondary presented no challenge whatsoever to Brandon Harris!!!
So Bama fans, what should Brandon Harris expect differently from your defensive backfield that we didn't see from UF (a UF secondary whom many have tagged as the best in college football)?

There are two schools who even bother to claim DBU. Bama ain't one of them.

Does UF have a pass rush as good as Bama's?

Don't try to talk logic with these guys, they rule..we suck!

Obviously Uf secondary is good. Obviously it was a challenge for Harris. Our secondary has the benefit of playing behind the most disruptive front 7 in the conference. Qbs with boat loads of pressure make our secondary look good. Eddie Jackson has turned into a fine, ball hawking safety. Hump has looked good, especially for his age. Jones is the leader and is playing with good confidence. Minkah is playing like a seasoned vet not a true freshmen. The Bama secondary is very good and gets a lot of help from an extrodanary Dline. Individually not as talented as Floridas, but as a unit, I like Bamas more.

I can't say for sure, but that LSU Oline boy

A front seven that makes its DBs really good.

Harris can expect Bama to be better because they're Bama

No one does. And that's half our pass defense. I do think we probably won't get 5 sacks like we did in the UT game because Harris is a good scrambler but we'll keep him from getting comfortable.

UF has a great secondary no doubt. They don't have the ability to stuff the run or rush the passer like we do. We have the most sacks and interceptions in the SEC. Having a great front 7 helps out our secondary which has some younger guys in it.
say whatever you want...we have a good secondary. we had 3 pick 6's against TAMU. A bad secondary doesn't do that.

Is there? Any links or quotes?

You are right, nobody believe this - I'm not sure why you are saying this.

I don't think Alabama's secondary is any better than Florida's. Alabama does have one of the top top rated pass efficiency defenses in the country though so they are pretty good. That's partly due to improved play in the secondary and partly due to improved play in the front seven particularly with respect to pressuring (and sacking) the QB and batting down balls. Pass defense is a team effort, it's not just the secondary.

Because we have very good DB's (as does UF) AND the best front 7 in the country. This ain't rocket surgery, people.

Forget the secondary. It seems like our Oline will be no-match for that vaunted Bama front seven.
I mean who could be....

A deadly pass rush to go with it.

The Bama defense could stop most NFL offenses easy. Tom Brady paired with the Bama D wins a super bowl.

Yes, as a Bama fan, I think our D is a bit better than FL's, particularly up front. However, that's not the point.
Harris has put together a few good games in a row - AT HOME. LSU has not played an away game in 7 weeks, and none of Harris' recent success has come on the road. The biggest difference is that Harris will face the best defense in CFB on the road, and it wil be hard to communicate. BDS will be incredibly loud for TGOTC part (whatever). That will be the difference.

Honestly, I lost a lot of respect for Hargreaves and UF's secondary after Sims torched them last year, and I haven't gotten it back yet. I'm sure they're better, but I think a lot of Bama fans feel the same way.

Yeah but tom Brady could win a super bowl with only Wade Christopher blocking for him
