What do you see as the biggest advantage or mismatch in either team's
favor?

For LSU, the pass rush (34 sacks) vs Bama's protection (23 sacks allowed) looks like the biggest.

LSU is playing great football and I expect Kiffin will have them prepared. I just hope they can't sustain a second game like when they beat Auburn.

But hey... we have a great punter this year.

LSU's punter has been terrible this season.

And probably the most important.

LSU's pass offense against Bama's pass defense is a big mismatch as well.

I refuse to let myself get caught up in the run up to this game due to my Bama vs LSU ptsd over the last nearly two decades.

I think the biggest key to this game is don't turn the ball over. Bama has existed on turnovers and it gets them going to put teams away.

Only IF LSU stops the run. I think Bama is gonna the QB a lot.

Baker's defense doesn't tend to do well against an athletic QB = advantage Bama.
Kiffin shits the bed in big games. Advantage Bama.

I'm just worried about out kickoff guy kicking it out the back of the endzone.... consistantly

Agree. Bama defense gives up passing yards but baits QBs into turnovers.

History. Alabama has some amazing VooDoo they sprinkle on the field in Baton Rouge. Sure, some of those games Alabama has been flat out the better team. No,ifs ands or buts. But some of those games were like "how did that happen??"

I think LSU beats the absolute dogshit out of Bama in every phase of the game. 24 point win.

Past be damned. New team, new coach.

Its LSU passing vs Alabama pass defense with a huge question as to whether Zabien Brown can even play this week.

LSU is 17th in opponent adjusted passing YPA and Bama is 102nd in defending the pass.

Bama statistically is as bad somehow in the secondary as LSU was the heisman year for Daniels.

If Kane sits in a soft zone LSU will march up and down the field all day, if he doesn't we will see Lane Kiffin throw at Dijon Lee vertically the entire day because he is a master at exploiting weaknesses and Lee has been that all season when asked to cover.

Good news for you, Bama hasn't put a team away in over a month.

Impossible ... Army could have passed for 400 yards against that secondary.
