I just think the most honorable thing Bama Nation could do for Saban is encourage him to retire and maintain his good health and live a long healthly life.

Saban is not an old drunk, so this won't happen

This narrative makes me uncomfortable. How does anyone really know Saban is in good health? This seems like a selfish assumption.

This and all Saban retirement or NFL talk is wishful thinking.
I think there are better odds of Saban coaching another decade than there are of him leaving bama in the next three years.

These were certainly failed seasons.

Sorry, Coach Saban will still be at Alabama kicking the snot out of your team on the field. Good try though, delusional, but a good try.....

Yeah, Bama needs to get off the pot and poach Malzahn away from Auburn.

At this point the revolving door of coordinators could become a real problem
Yeah. It's really hurt on-field performance and recruiting.

Say Saban got sick abruptly, there is no one capable of running the team on staff.
Well that's simply not true.

Need to act now to prevent drop off like 80s.
If Les freaking Miles can take over the diet coke program Saban built at LSU and not have a drop off until 7 years later, I'm sure Dabo or some other well qualified coach who wants to inherit what Saban has built and make more money than any other coach will gladly take the Coke Classic program Saban has built at Bama and maintain 85-90% of the success level.
The drop off in the 80's was not a result of Bryant "staying too long". It was the result of feeling like they needed to hire a "Bama guy". That lesson has been learned. Bama will hire the best available coach when Saban ultimately retires.

There's no point in responding to this guy. He's just a very silly troll who probably actually thinks he's clever or witty. In other words, it may be the Von Rex or Boar Ed dude.
