Bama shoots it good enough to beat anyone on a good day.
Is it too late to turn up the defense?
Auburn defends good enough to beat anyone on a good day.
Is it too late to turn up the shooting?
These teams have strengths and weaknesses.
Alabama has great guard play
Auburn is good close to the basket.
I hope we get a matchup in SECt.
Tennessee is in the 1 seed convo for a reason.
Kentucky is so talented.
Florida has the pieces.
South Carolina has the toughness.
Should be an entertaining March for SEC.

I don’t see the Auburn and Alabama hype this year.
Both have underwhelmed when the competition stiffened up
Give us a Kansas update if you can.

Y'all keep saying this like it's true. He's actually performing as expected this year

We’ve played some really good teams during that stretch, with some banged up players.
My bigger concern is how cold we’ve been from 3 since the 2nd half of the UT game.

Sears in particular has seemed like he needed some rest for the past month. The dude is great, but I don't think he knew he was going to have to carry the team for so many games this year.

Covid-fortunate flash in the pan program. Picked ahead of Auburn preseason with a lesser roster btw. Always the media darlings.
WTF does Covid have to do with anything? It says a lot about Auburn's basketball program that said flash in the pan program has finished ahead of Auburn in the league standings 6 of the 10 seasons the greatest head coach in your program's history has been at the helm and only he's finished ahead of Oats only once since he's been head coach at Alabama.
Oats has almost as many NCAA tournament appearances (4) in only 5 seasons as Pearl has (5) in 10 seasons at Auburn and has as many SEC regular season titles (2) and SEC tournament titles (2) in only 5 seasons as Pearl has in 10 seasons at Auburn. Not to mention Oats has a 6-4 head to head record and a 62-28 SEC record compared to Pearl's 57-31 SEC record over the last 5 seasons.
2019/2020 season - current season:
Covid flash in the pan program > Auburn program under Pearl

Final four was great though, thanks Coach Pearl.

We are 4-2 against top ten teams (3-1 against top 5).
You're 2-4 against the whole top 25. You’re also still 1-7 against quad 1.

Auburn continued to play hard and win by 15+ after the tough Tennessee game.
Because you have a veteran team. Besides Spears can you name another starter that played for Bama last year?

Truly one of the finest moments in barn history. You now have a legendary program up there with the George Mason's of the world.
It's a shame such a blue blood hasn't made it out of the 1st weekend since.

This is why Alabama got the easy trip to Spokane against a #13 seed while Auburn got sent all the way to Spokane against a #13 seed.
Unfair.

Another perspective is they were once in play for a one seed and now they’re slumping hard in March.
Slumping hard!
