One way of looking at it. Another perspective is they were once in play for a one seed and now they’re slumping hard in March.

I look at it from the roster makeup which became an issue when Clowney and Bediako went pro early (and Quinerly and Bradley transferred out) and the preseason expectations mostly. Probably on par or a little overachieve based on those expectations. Given the offseason losses, this could be close to a floor type season with Oats. For Alabama fans coming from hoping to make it in as a bubble team most years it’s pretty good.

Barner arrogance. This one just learned to read and is already trying to lecture me on words.

See now that’s deflection. Brother not sure you’re going to cut it here. I have a feeling you’ll be back to al.com or bamamag by the end of the year

That's just an accurate summary of your stumbling in this thread.

Oats is doing an unreal job this year based on the talent he has. Bama has over-achieved all year.

Y'all keep saying this like it's true. He's actually performing as expected this year

Picked ahead of Auburn preseason with a lesser roster btw. Always the media darlings.

Finished ahead of them too

According to whom? Bama was picked to finish 5th in SEC, they’re going to finish 2nd

Despite late season shooting struggles the last 6 games, they managed to finish 3-3. Two of those games they found a way to win when they should have lost. Despite these late season struggles, Alabama still finished the regular season ranked 2nd in the SEC. In a year they were picked preseason to finish middle of the pack. It could be so much worse.

In a 7 bid league while replacing all three assistants and most of the roster.
