Alabama will either be the 2 or 3 seed in the SEC tournament. Auburn will be seeded behind them.

Alabama was also replacing four starters and all three assistant coaches from last year. This was very much a gap year after winning two of the last three SEC regular season and tournament championships.

Picked 5th…..finished 2nd. Your logic checks out! Lol. I don’t think you know what the word expected means…

What do you want to bet that Alabama is seeded higher than Auburn in the SEC tournament? Seeding is based on finish + tie breakers.

How confident are you that Auburn enters this years SEC tourney seeded higher than Alabama?

Unless we shite the bed today, we will have the same conference record, a higher NET, AP, and Coaches poll ranking and will have split the H/A. If you're seeded higher in the SEC tournament, that's only by coin toss.

Since Oats has been in Tuscaloosa, Bama has been better than Auburn.

No, it is not decided by a coin toss.

So what do you want to bet that Alabama has a better seed in the SEC tournament than Auburn? I will take Bama, you can have Auburn. Maybe we could bet a bag of Chex mix?

It’s actually by tie-breaker scenarios. Alabama will be a better seed than Auburn in Nashville, it’s not an “if.”

Auburn basketball “fans” think it’s by coin toss

Too bad for you that doesn't happen and all the other stuff you listed is meaningless.

I was being figurative but, in this case, the tie breaker is basically a coin toss and you know it.

Tie-breakers are quite literally not coin tosses.

Why would the fanbase of a basketball blue blood think such a thing?

I don’t think you have any idea what the tie breaker is. Hint: it is win/loss differential versus the highest ranked common opponent. So nothing like a coin toss at all. What common opponent do you think it is?

What does it matter - all four get a double bye and I would say outside of Tennessee any team is perfectly capable of losing their Friday game.

I don't know if I would call it "agitated"... I might wonder about someone spending enough of their time to research how many minutes another team has spent with a lead over the last few games...

Posting stats is just letting actual factual information settle debates versus emotional “I think” arguments.

It is strange how many Auburn fans recoil from stats like a vampire being tossed out in the sunlight.
