We get to start a much more physical CB (Jobe) versus Chase next season.

If your plan for Chase is Jobe, then you're already fricked.

Dudes didnt look a ton better against Michigan than they did at the beginning of the season.

Even more youth was getting their toes wet. Bad first half. Great second half.

That many true freshmen at the end is bound to lead to lots of improvement. Especially with the key upperclassmen back from injury.

Our plan for Chase is to pressure the QB. There’s a reason why we signed 3 5 star OLBs this class.

Bamas offense is never going to be the issue going forward imo. Its whether or not their defense is strong enough.

There’s a reason though, for optimism on defense. With a wealth of talent in the incoming class and to-be sophomores and redshirt freshmen.

Yall defense was pretty star studded last year too. Alot of the first team was missing but its not like yall were in shambles.

As many as 5 freshmen in the front seven at times. Including the entire middle of the defense. That’s not a good recipe. No matter how star studded.

Bama is not going to win in Baton Rouge this year.

I do agree the Bama defense will be better.

LSU will have a better defense as well.

All depends on Myles Brennan vs Mac Jones.

LSU plays Texas and Florida b4 Bama. Bama plays only Georgia.

But they are the same 5 only they are Soph now. Better maybe, that much better is a stretch.

I'd respectfully disagree. Giving up 44 points to Clemson, 46 to LSU and 48 to Auburn seems pretty nasty to me.

You’re losing Lawrence, Queen, Phillips, Chaisson, Delpit, and Fulton and you think you’re going to have a better defense?

This is simply not true. Jobe is very good and Battle is as well. They were TF well Jobe was RSF.

most bama fans expect it's "D" to be better and it lost davis, lewis, Jennings, digs, McKinley, carter and mayder. That's seven guys that started VS LSU.

LSU's starting 11 on "D" will be very good. DL and secondary are solid. LB corps is the big question mark. Return four experienced players at LB (two Srs and two Jr) with experience. Three have started some games.

Davis was very underwhelming this year, he is easily replaceable with Ray back.

Lewis didn’t do much, he’s pretty replacable. I’m not not worried about our edge rushers, we have a ton of those.

Diggs got torched versus LSU. Jobe (or JAD, Williams, etc.) can’t be any worse.

Mayden and Carter were liabilities and are easily replacable. I’m happy to see them gone.

McKinney is not as replaceable but I have faith in Battle, he’s a stud

All in all our defense should be much much better

We’re replacing Shane Lee with Dylan Moses. Nuff said
