No.....and LSU isn't any more of a challenge than say Georgia

But I also believe that Joe and Joe are what got y’all this victory.
O is building a program, if you cant see that you are nuts. We have upgraded at EVERY coaching position when needed since his arrival, there is no reason to think that we will back up or are solely dependent on one person.

Isn't Tua gone after this year? I think Bama loses most of that receiving core also. I think LSU wins big next year against Bama.

[quote])Next year without Burrows LSU is back to losing 2-3 games per year. Bama will just reload and keep stomping arse as long as Saban is there.
Dude, Tua ain't walking through that door next year either.

You said no troll, so I'm going to take you at your word and answer honestly.
quote:No, not really. LSU always plays Alabama tough and they finally broke through this year with a win. It was bound to happen eventually.
Does this loss feel different than the others over the years?
quote:I don't think the LSU win was a fluke like the A&M/Ole Miss wins were, but I do think Alabama could and should have won the game. They played about as poorly as they could in the first half, I think mostly due to Tua catching up to the speed of an actual game.
Does it feel like this wasn’t just a one off like the atm/ole miss type games where a team caught lightning in a bottle?
quote:I mean, that's kind of always been LSU. They've always had a lot of talent and their recruiting is always very good, so I don't really understand that part of your question. Georgia has taken over recently as the #1 challenger to Bama, but for most of Saban's tenure LSU has been the 2nd best team in the SEC.
Does this feel like a talent rich team that’s always competed with one arm behind their back bc of their offensive philosophy has now broken free and is primed to challenge you on the field, the recruiting trail, etc?
quote:The only difference is how the injuries on defense have really taken their toll on us, but our offense is maybe the GOAT, so you take the good with the bad. I would be very excited for a rematch with LSU. It would be another great game if Alabama doesn't shoot themselves in the foot for 30 minutes next time.
If not that’s fine just curious if this feels any different than the losses of the past?

I like our chances with Mac or Taulia, and Waddle, Metchie, and whoever else steps up against Brennan and LSU's wrs. So much time between now and then though, no one really knows how that game will actually look.

Sure, O has built a nice team this year, but there will be set-backs next year losing potentially the best QB in LSU history, and if CEH goes pro. That's just how these things go. I could be wrong, but it just seems somewhat obvious.

But this is something that occurs with every top team. Bama fans almost universally chide LSU as a team that has historically underperformed their talent level. We show every sign of reversing that trend.
Just seems like sour grapes to say LSU will not be a threat next year.

None of the above mentioned players plays defense for Bama. Jefferson is the only WR that LSU will be losing from the ones that carved Bama arse up. Should return majority of the OL also and we get to add the No. 1 WR class in the nation coming in. So it will be a long day/night for Bama in Tiger Stadium next year.

All loses suck. Nobody enjoys a loss.
But nobody could have predicted that LSU winning a regular season game by 5 points would be the greatest win of all time for LSU.
I'm amazed.

quote:Wtf game did you watch last year. Tua had a brace on his knee the whole game.
A healthy tua scored 29 last year. Y’all got 34 on offense this year. A healthy tua doesn’t keep 46 off the board. Offense wasn’t the problem

Please point out one example of how Tuna's injured ankle hurt his performance.
For reference Tua's last 5 games rushing:
-5 vs LSU
-5 vs Tenn
-10 vs A&M
1 vs Ole Miss
8 vs USM

1) With a healthy Tua we win that game.
Nearly every sidewalk Bama fan is using this weak excuse for losing the game. Why is it so hard to simply say you lost and give LSU some credit for beating you?
Also, if Tua was so injured that he couldn't play well, why aren't any of you calling out Saban for not putting Jones or Baby Tua in the game?
If Saban played an obviously injured Tua, and jacked him up on drugs to mask his pain, then Saban needs to be called on the carpet and disciplined by the AD and university president. Maybe the SEC and NCAA needs to investigate.

He wasn't a threat to run like your boy Burrows did which completely changed the game. You don't win without him Burrows running. Tua also hadn't played in a game in 3 weeks. That makes a huge difference.

At some point Bama is going to have to accept the fact that a dinged up Tua is 100% Tua. Like LSU fans have done with Rashard Lawrence

If you are honest with yourself you know damn well A1abama does not deserve a rematch.
