Does this loss feel different than the others over the years? Does it feel like this wasn’t just a one off like the atm/ole miss type games where a team caught lightning in a bottle?
Does this feel like a talent rich team that’s always competed with one arm behind their back bc of their offensive philosophy has now broken free and is primed to challenge you on the field, the recruiting trail, etc?
If not that’s fine just curious if this feels any different than the losses of the past?

If you actually want my honest assessment, I believe LSU definitely has the talent to compete, almost every year. But I also believe that Joe and Joe are what got y’all this victory. When they are gone - and one definitely will be after this year, and there’s a good chance the other will be too - it will be back to business as usual.

Yawn... not really any different, a loss is a loss...
Congrats on the win, it was impressive...

Honestly Alabama has been a cluster on defense all year. It does feel different from that stand point and makes you realize what we had in all those years in which we had stability in Kirby and Pruitt.
That said injuries killed the defense, too. Dylan Moses was going to be the leader and losing Ray hurt as well. No excuse, just reality.

Feels different because 1) it hasn’t happened in a long time and 2) LSU actually felt like the better team.
2nd half Bama was a completely different team, but Burrow was in complete control for basically the entire game. I never really felt like he was rattled or the moment was too big.
Burrow was the one that made it feel different.

I can 100% understand all of this, but I will ask a follow up.
Does it concern you if Brady is locked up long term knowing that burrow went from scoreless last year at home to unstoppable this year at BDS with the exact same supporting cast in only one year?

Have you seen this recruiting class ? We know you have because Alabama fans have done nothing but accuse LSU of paying players and O is cheating. Which is the epitome of pot calling the kettle black.
So you’re basically saying that LSU will go back to a Les run offense? Because let’s be honest here, it’s been the offense that’s held LSU back against Alabama. They’re going to go back to what they were doing 8 years ago? Is that what you’re saying?

Probably didn't fully answer your question but this loss doesn't feel as bad because of the way we came back in the 2nd half. I was thinking Clemson all over but we fought back and had a chance to win. This LSU team might be the best team we have played in Saban era at least right up there. LSU definitely trending in the right direction with recruiting but more importantly attitude. You could see it in their play they were not intimidated by us - which we've gotten by with against LSU. This LSU team had a different feel than others.
It was a damn good day too - Game day, LSU fans, President, great atmosphere - you win some you lose some

In a vacuum no. We allowed a ton of points to the best offense in the country that had the likely Heisman winner, several receivers that will drafted, a high draft pick at runningback, and an incredible system
With context yes because next year feels like a rebuild. The offense won’t be the caliber to bail us out and losing a lot of the pass rush and secondary.

Dude will be an OC somewhere, so you won't be locking him up long term unless you get to around $2 mil plus... maybe more...
What he has done is impressive and it will not go unnoticed...
Follow up - will you melt if he ends up as an OC at BAMA?

Here are 2 hard facts you're not going to like.
1) With a healthy Tua we win that game.
2) If you're honest with yourself you know damn well you don't want a rematch. Tua will probably be 100% by PO time. That's why you guys are lobbying to keep us out.
3)Next year without Burrows LSU is back to losing 2-3 games per year. Bama will just reload and keep stomping arse as long as Saban is there.
So no, it doesn't feel different. Feels just like 2011 LSU, 2012 Tx A&M, or 2016 Ole Miss. If we get a shot we're going to win the Natty this year.

Well apparently he’s locked up long term at LSU to take SE job in the not so distant future.

Don't be that guy...show some respect to LSU.

This loss doesn't feel any different from AU in 2017 or Clemson last year to me. It's been clear for a while that Saban is done. He's already been slipping on the recruiting trail which is why this is the worst defense of his tenure. That, and shitty coordinator hires like Golding and Sark.
And it doesn't matter if Tua is healthy or not. Tua is another Leonard Fournette. Looks like the GOAT against cupcakes, doesn't show up against the best.

1. A healthy tua scored 29 last year. Y’all got 34 on offense this year. A healthy tua doesn’t keep 46 off the board. Offense wasn’t the problem
2. I’d rather play bama over OSU or Clemson if we’re being honest.
3. Thanks for the reply
