Seems as if they’re being a bit harsh. Golding has done a fine job, especially considering the innovations made on offense in recent years.

Alabama was #2 in the SEC in points allowed per game….

The odds are not in Bama’s favor that this stat will improve - there’s mostly room to just go down.

Get ready to watch 21 point leads disappear and KNOWING that if the opponent gets the ball back with at least 30 seconds left in the game they are gonna hit two 30 yd pass plays and kick the winning fg. If there is a minute left they will go 90 yds and score a TD. If it’s a close game in the 4th you will lose.

Imagine a player like Will Anderson under them. He would have been the beast he was supposed to be. In reality, Golding had him dropping back in coverage instead of rushing the QB. Those stats are a product of averages. Feasted on weak competition and famined on stronger teams. As someone said early, he should have been shown the door after Tennessee.
