Thats it Ole Miss. Justify his hire to make yourself feel better. You can gladly have him.

He sucks. Congrats.

Again….

he had the #2 defense in the league allowing the 2nd fewest points per game.

I believe it's addition by subtraction. The talent we had on the field masked a lot of Golding's shortcomings

You don't need to justify the hire to us. We support you 100%.

And that’s the difference in Bama. #2 isn’t good enough.

If that were true (it isn’t) you’d be firing your OC….Bama was #5 in the SEC in total yards.

Golding is the Mark Richt of DCs. Stats look great but watch him choke in a big game. Good luck with him.

Standards

Surprisingly they're different at Alabama than they are at Ole Miss.

Saban does not have to fire him. He will be in the NFL soon.

And now we all know you don’t understand Mark Richt references.

People shite on him because he couldn’t win a natty.

Golding won a national title.

It cracks me up that Bama fans think just bc they pull for a team that is good it makes them knowledgeable about football. However most (like this poster) are hilariously ignorant.

Anyone not associated with the Alabama football program that lives in Tuscaloosa knows nothing about what it means to have standards

Well, the thread is about football, sooo…

But honestly, the guy from Mississippi wants to go there?

These digressions aside, I’m sorry we’ve consistently pointed out his deficiencies and wanted him gone for two years, and now we’re happy that he’s gone, and for some reason the fact that we’re not melting is ruining your Friday.

Bologna

And I rather the team give up 25 per game but avoid giving up an auto 45 in the big games.

What he did with some of the ridiculous talent on his teams was inexcusable. He used 15 and 31 like a fricking idiot. What he did with Hellams on Hyatt was inexcusable. The defense he was calling against LSU late in the game was inexcusable.

Who cares about holding Vandy to 3 with your incredible talent when you’re going to give up 27-50 in every halfway big game?

ETA: And wasn’t completely incapable of building good game plans. When he did, you saw what Alabama’s talent was capable of and should be doing most games. The stinkers were WAY too frequent, though.

It’s a great hire, I’m pretty happy.

Again, he posted the #2 defense in the SEC. Who specifically will you hire that will beat that by one position?

You just know he gets his bama gear from wal mart. At least most Ole Miss fans actually attended the school.

Probably someone with a functioning brain that can somehow also coach a loaded team of 5-stars, and will most likely have fewer DUI's than our last DC.
