Just bought the coach of your dreams and still fretting over Bama. How far do you think the corndogs will go in the playoffs this year?

I guess if Bama got their arse kicked by LSU most every year like your team does, I would feel the same as you cats do.

I’ve never seen a team admit defeat so easily and know they’re going to lose bad.
To be honest, I never thought we should actually be in the playoffs. There are other deserving teams out there that make an effort

GD is your whole state full of fricking morons? What playoff are you in? What championship game did you play in? You just hired a guy that won't last 3 years if he doesn't do what Deboer has already accomplished in 2 years.

Oklahoma is in the playoff, playing Alabama.

Texas A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Bama are in the college football playoffs. Big 5.

I think all 5 can do well in the playoffs.

I am most worried about Ole Miss losing Lane's play calling, but even they could make some noise with a break here or there. I have mixed emotions about Georgia probably facing them so early. Glad Lane Kiffin won't be calling the plays, but worried we could take them for granted since Lane isn't calling the plays.

Alabama and Oklahoma playing early will clear the field a bit, too. I have no idea who will win that one, and could see either coming out on top and doing well.

Absolutely does not, but the fact it has been mentioned 3-4 times in this thread already should have.

Can't argue with your observation that Bama fans have been overly negativeabout our chances.

As a Bama fan who tends to be glass half empty even I think the pessimism is overboard. If we can win the turnover battle or at least keep it even I think we have a decent chance of winning a close one and advancing.

I don't like our chances against Indiana if we do somehow win in Norman though. This year's Indiana team is legit

He's an Oklahoma fan that signed up for this site as an "LSU fan" just to subtly glaze Oklahoma all the time, like there's more message board validity if another fanbase is praising your team. But none of us can pretend forever, the subtlety has been gone for a while now.

Did you and your imaginary Bama friends at church discuss the outlook of the rest of LSU's season?

No?

It's not just the end of the season. OU's upcoming win will mark the inflection point where it becomes apparent that the inertia left by Saban has ended. The bama run is over and DeBoer is not a dynasty keeper much less a builder. Tough days ahead for the Tide.
