Competition vs offenses in that span not exactly elite, but it's still SEC. Against State in first half at times 3 true freshmen started along with 4 shirted freshmen and sophomores. They gaining confidence.

Bama offense just gets better, especially the run game. Frosh rb Trey Sanders looking healed from last year's season ending foot injury Can not afford to lose Smith at WR.

Real weapon at PK has developed as Will Reichard has healed from season ending injury last year. He's 8 of 8 field goals, all extra points.

Punting is still a liability as Bama is on its 4th punter since late last year. 40 yard punts are a rarity now. Bama fans are now conditioned to be relieved with a 35 yarder that's not reuturned for more than 10.

Penalties continue to be a prob, especially drive killing offsides by O linemen, will eventually hurt down the line against tougher foes if not corrected.

Will Reichard is a god. The true hero of Bama’s offense this year.

Your sardonic praise of Reichard is noted. At some point this season Bama will most likely be up against an elite D with tight game late in 4th quarter.

If Bama has a true hero so far it's the O Line...lot's of depth, experience, size, injury free.

I wouldn't brag on this too much. Mississippi state is terrible on Offense and Georgia keep trying to make that midget a Sec QB

I mean outside of the Ole Miss game, where Saban is convinced that our signals were stolen, our defense has looked good all year

I dunno... 10 quarters and 17 points is a certain improvement over what we’ve been seeing for the last couple of seasons. Whether it’s slight changes in personnel groups, people finally playing better after past injury... could be youngsters growing up... Who knows, could have been a few come to Jesus meetings!!

It’s definitely improvement worth noting, and worth acknowledgement to Nick, Golding, and the staff and players.

Give em a Roll Tide!!!

Saban's epitaph on his tombstone: it was a good life, except for those daggum kickers.

Bama doesn’t stand a chance next Saturday.
Doubt they even cross the 50 until the 4th qtr.

Saban’s obviously lost his edge and will likely retire before the end of the season.

Edit - in all honesty, Bama is a lot of fun to watch this season. They look great!

If Georgia had a QB they would be unbeatable.

Opponent's offensive production in non-Bama games:

Missouri (19 vs Bama): 12, 45, 20, 17 - Average of 23.5ppg
Texas A&M (24 vs Bama): 17, 41, 28, 42 - Average of 32ppg
Georgia (24 vs Bama): 37, 27, 44, 14 - Average of 30.5ppg
Tennessee (17 vs Bama): 31, 35, 21, 7 - Average of 23.5ppg
Mississippi St (0 vs Bama): 44, 14, 2, 14 - Average of 18.5ppg
Ole Miss - We don't talk about Ole Miss.

So, except for the game that shall not be named, teams are scoring about a TD less against Bama than they are against their other opponents. Not great, but if it holds up it will be fine.

It's also worth noting that 2 of the 5 haven't lost another game.
