You realize Texas and a&m have basically endless amount of money they can throw at this right? Lsu, while very well off financially, isn’t in the same league (just like nearly every other college)

Nope it’s just hilarious to read these thread with sauces when nobody knows wtf woody will do. I think he had a plan before the announcement and a team beating Arkansas state doesn’t really change that. Not saying I’d be disappointed about Napier being our next head coach. It’s just impressive how shortsighted our fans can be when our next head coach will get a $40m+ Contract.

If we have learned anything from his past HC hires, we know Woody swings for the fences.
So who do you guys think are in that at caliber?
Just looking at Napier vs Woodward’s other hires, he has much less success in his sport. Mulkey with multiple ncaa and big12 trophies, Johnson with 2 Omaha appearances, Jimbo with a natty. Napier doesn’t fit in that list based on caliber of success. Same argue for Aranda. Not saying either of these guys would be bad hires, but they just don’t seem to fit with Woodward’s style.

If he was negotiating the terms of his separation for more than a week that would imply that he got less than the buyout in his contract. Other wise woody would just fire him.

Parts of LSU’s game still looked like shite yesterday, we still gave up 42 point with 4 turnovers and a record breaking rushing attack on the other side of the ball burning massive amounts of clock. How the hell do people think we will win out with all those stars aligning for us to barely beat Florida? Amazing win yesterday, but that style is not sustainable.
Not to mention Florida most likely wasn’t read to have us run the ball straight at them because every other game this year we couldn’t rush for shite. Now that those few plays are on film our next matchups will be ready for them.
