One of the many reasons college football is so great is due to stuff like this

Alabama-Dixieland Delight

LSU-Callin' Baton Rouge

West Virginia-Country Roads

Holy shite - at 1:50 of the WV video you can see a photographer guy pouring - what looks like ashes - on the WV logo at midfield

Yeah... that's never gonna work.

I love Dixieland Delight. College kids have done stupid stuff forever and for always. Let them have their fun.

Sorry guys. The fact that LSU made it in Dixieland Delight with Auburn and Tennessee officially classified them as a rival. Congrats LSU!

How long before its taken away again because your coked up students can't keep from using profanity for a few hours a week?

Better chance Tua plays in the 4th qtr against the Citadel than Dixieland Delight survives the season. And that's a shame.

Bama should play it and sing it however they want, heck they can put it on the video board for all I care.

I was at the 2014 (AU-UA) game, the song went like this....

Spend my dollar (On beer)
Parked in a holler 'neath the mountain moonlight (Roll Tide)
Holdin' her up tight (FVCK AUBURN)
Make a little lovin' (FVCK AUBURN)
A little turtle dovin' on a Mason Dixon night (FVCK AUBURN)
It's my life (FVCK AUBURN)
Oh so right (FVCK AUBURN)
My dixieland delight (FVCK AUBURN)

It got louder and louder with each verse and was far more than the students at the end.

I think the greatest musical moment in Bryant-Denny was when they played "Take the Money and Run" and "Son of a Preacher Man" during the pregame while Cam was warming up. I understand the person who played the songs got reprimanded or some bull shite but it was totally worth it. As beautiful as that scene setting music was, it was even more sweet when the Cam-Back unfolded later that same day. The Son of the Preacher Man did indeed take the money and ran. Bastard did something no SEC QB has managed to do since: go an entire season without losing a single game. No wonder y'all say "frick AUBURN".

Well, they hoped to cover up the overt racism of playing this song by having an African-American participate in these video-based shenanigans.

Mizzou stopped playing "Dixie" in the 60s, just as everyone else should have.
WTF does any of this have to do with "Dixieland Delight"? Racism? "Dixie"in the 60's?

Totally agree. That shite ain't happening. I don't see anything wrong with it either. It's the best piped-in-song anywhere ever in the history of sports except times a hundred.

frick Auburn.

And LSU.

And Tennessee too.

It's not even the best piped in song at BDS over the last decade.

That'd be C-Murder.

The question is, why was Missouri even playing Dixie in the first place? Yankee fricks should be playing Yankee Doodle

Wow. That is a LOT of fricks given for Auburn. Almost as impressive as all the fricks given towards Saban by LSU students.

No wonder they banned the song. Seems like the administration would be unwise to ever play the song during the Iron Bowl ever again.

P.S. STTDB, Nick.
