Sorry guys. The fact that LSU made it in Dixieland Delight with Auburn and Tennessee officially classified them as a rival. Congrats LSU!

It's official.

But there's no denying that Auburn gets 99% of the hate *these days*. I know there's plenty of historical hate for 10erC just as LSU and Ole Miss have history (probably not on the same scale). But the Iron Bowl is the greatest current rivalry in the SEC and it's not even close.

It would be nice if Tennessee at least tried though. In 10 years, they've only had a chance to beat Bama twice. The rest of the games have been a joke.

Tennessee took the whole "turn down the hear of the rivalry" after the Fulmer stuff a little too seriously.

"Bama should play it and sing it however they want, heck they can put it on the video board for all I care.

I was at the 2014 (AU-UA) game, the song went like this....

Spend my dollar (On beer)
Parked in a holler 'neath the mountain moonlight (Roll Tide)
Holdin' her up tight (FVCK AUBURN)
Make a little lovin' (FVCK AUBURN)
A little turtle dovin' on a Mason Dixon night (FVCK AUBURN)
It's my life (FVCK AUBURN)
Oh so right (FVCK AUBURN)
My dixieland delight (FVCK AUBURN)

It got louder and louder with each verse and was far more than the students at the end. "

I was there, it was quite a moment. The only thing rivaled by it was the one trip I made down to Auburn for a game several years ago and the crowd sang "Living on a Prayer"....I thought that had been the most pathetic thing I had ever seen at a football game, and it has yet to be topped. So yeah, Frick Auburn.

It's not even the best piped in song at BDS over the last decade. That'd be C-Murder.

UA is asking students to “keep it clean”. Not a chance in hell that happens. Wish they had held out til the IB bc it will be shelved forever after this weekend. Like the Grateful Dead busting out an electric Ripple at the Cap in 88 after 18 years only to never play it again.

That is the single, one, lamest shite I've ever seen. It exposes Bama, again. I mean, Saban brought you good football, but you're still the lamest state in the US. That's pathetic. It's like GA Tech offering free drinks and hot dogs. Jeebus Freakin' Christ, Bama! A stupid song to try to entice students to come to games?!?! Give out meth, or crack, something Bama students can get into. But a stupid song from the 70's?!?! Bama's Bama. I thought they were on the road to more. But they're still much, much less. I'm embarrassed to live in a state one over. Not that I haven't always been, but shite. Just shite.

The kiss of death was the 2014 iron bowl when frick auburn was said with the beat of the song, like a hundred times, then when the song was finished the frick auburn chant went on another 2 or 3 minutes and it was clear as a bell during that timeout. I knew then it was toast.

Miss Terry has come out this week and said enjoy the tradition but responsibly.

I'm the biggest frick auburn person walking but u gotta have some tact. If it starts again it needs to be removed again.

You may be right, I seem to be one of the only ones still holding onto my TN hate apparently.

The next stunt will include a cross burning heading into the fourth quarter to keep the old timers in their seats late in the game.

As the old saying goes...."People who throw toilet paper in trees should not worry about what others do".
When will ya'll teach the Lee County trailer park residents exactly how toilet tissue is supposed to be used???
