Feels good to have a little nostalgia matchup. Pretty nervous about this one. Cow bells “on paper” would seem to be a big problem for Deboer. Bama is much better than last year but the matchup of bells vs Deboer could be the difference. Roll tide. Might need to unleash Crowell!

I was in Tuscaloosa today. We were on 82 and I told my wife (MSU fan) that MSU is just a few miles down the road. They are so very close to each other.

I think State has the closest two distances from other SEC campuses in Bama and UMiss.

The best team Dan Mullens had in 2014 came to Tuscaloosa ranked #1, the second best was 2015 and BAMA nearly killed Dak Prescott when Mullens decided to Big 12 the Tide. There have been close calls, cause that's what happens when you play every season.
The challenge for ALABAMA is to tackle well and show up for 4 quarters. Believe me when I say challenge.

Friken 2017 was a bitter pill. That turned the wine into vinegar for the rest of the season and put Mullen into job hunt mode for the rest of the season.
And those falling dominos led to a dumbass coach wasting one of the most talented teams we had in a while in 2018, Leach restructuring the roster to pass only.. get there.. and then pass away on us in the worst time of the year to be coach hunting.. and then hire a DC that was no where near ready for HC duties to blow up the offense again, and completely collapse the program and almost bury it.

If Mullen had leaned a little more toward the Big 12 side in 2014 he had a good chance to win that one, but his butthole puckered in the first half and he went ultra conservative and blew his chance.

State’s QB will get them points, but overall Bama wins.
