Rice-Eccles at Utah. Had just been rebuilt for Winter Olympics. Great views.

To make your argument make sense, every game should be on an over the air broadcast like ABC, CBS or NBC.

ESPN has 1 ESPN channel, 1 ESPN2 channel, 1 ESPN U channel, 1 SECN channel and ESPN+. All but ESPN had college baseball on.

These are not channels on cable? People don't channel surf on cable? I don't understand why you are adverse to trying to grow the game. Defend ESPN on making stupid choices on programming.

I tell my television to put on whatever game. There is no "logging on."

On my phone, I open the ESPN app and press "watch."

Skip McDonald's once a month, spend that on ESPN, and you'll be happier. Or, like I do, have xfinity and have it included.

You are searching for it. To grow the game, you need people who are not searching for it. You need people who stumble upon it. See how college softball has grown.

If you have the ESPN + app, you can see any game for like $10 a month.

Again, trying to grow the game. Non-traditional fans. Not ones who seek it out by logging on and finding the game online.

You think this would have a bigger draw?

You think this would draw more interest?

Just log off.

Do people not tune in for the 16/1 game for the basketball tournament? Random people just surfing the channels might stop to watch a game that has a crowd and energy. I understand that Auburn shite the bed so you don't want that on TV.

what channel was State on?

ESPN+ the whole weekend.

Which game should have been on instead?

Nebraska? Kansas? USM?

So now it's ESPN's responsibility to fill stadiums and make them excited? This is in the top ten of stupid posts today, and there have been a lot of stupid posts today.

No, but you show games that you know beforehand will have better crowds and energy. Why do you show LSU/Alabama football on ABC primetime Saturday, but not Kent State at Toledo?

Why does ESPN hate college baseball?

If you want to grow the game, you show games on cable that have crowds in the stands and energy. Yeah, lets show UK/WF with nobody in the stands to start off. Let's show NC State/UCF in a dead stadium on ESPN2. To grow the game, you need energy. ESPN seems to have no desire to show it.

Think something like this is pretty close. I think USC is coming to State.

Good pitching, but they can't really hit. Clash of styles.

I also wonder how much good optics will be for ESPN/ABC. Will any regional/super-regional games be on ABC? I think having the SEC Tournament Championship scheduled for ABC was a first.
Arkansas to Kansas
Oregon State to Oregon
Ole Miss to USM
Miami to UF
Arizona State to UCLA
Tennessee to UNC
USC to State

If they would have given this show to Craig Ferguson, it would still be going strong. Major miscalculation.
Maybe we have a constitutional convention and create one that doesn't require amendment voting on everything. Maybe look at the ones in other states that have lasted for more than a century and are simple. :dunno:

Bring back Craig Ferguson

Letterman killed The Late Show when he chose Colbert over Ferguson. Ferguson was the closest to a Carson type.

They so badly want to the be the “hero” and martyr to take out the orange man and save America /the republic

They sit and consume the Reddit and MSM about how evil he is and they get brainwashed into violent action to either kill him or be killed in the process

They are being sent by their vocal "leaders" who will claim plausible deniability for their role in sending out the brainwashed. The people committing these acts are basically cannon fodder and are of no concern to the leaders as anything but a useful tool.
