You're right. I don't think that Bama would've beaten any of the teams left in the pool. Bama accomplished a ton this year though. Dominated the SEC. I am pretty happy with the season.

Ole Miss fans talking basketball is funny.
You will never know what an elite 8 is like or anything in basketball.
Heak you will never know what winning in any sport is like because you have never done it.
1 CWS appearance in my life, never been good at basketball and never even been to the SEC game in Atlanta.

Bama was a farce . That was no mystery . Arky was a ? though and they turned out to be a farce to . SEC was not that good . I meen they will zero teams in final four. another FAIL

To be fair, Baylor has made a great many teams look "not Final 4 material"
I think Arkansas was definitely capable of beating Houston/Oregon St/Michigan/UCLA/USC. They just ran into a team that was almost unanimously considered one of the top 2 teams in the country

I expect the Baylor game to be similar to what happened last night. We needed Moody to get out of his "slump" and score above his average and make this game competitive to the last possession. But it never happened and with Notae fouling out with 13 minutes left, a chance of coming back was doomed.
It also didn't help that for the fourth consecutive time in this tournament, we came out slow and that is something a team has to avoid playing someone as good as Baylor.

You'd think an Ole Miss fan (of all fans) would recognize that. Ole Miss runs into better teams far more often than most.
This made me think though...just what DO Ole Miss fans have in common with Arkansas fans?
We were all involved in the 4th and 25 game.
We both know that our football series all time record is 36-28-1, even though Arkansas just went through its worst 10 year period in forever. (OK...so Ole Miss wants to argue over the tie...that says a lot doesn't it?)
We both know the basketball all time record is 48-33...even more lopsided. (I'm assuming anyone with past 3rd grade intelligence knows Arkansas leads all the all time records...but since some Ole Miss fans may have Auburn grads around to read this to them, I felt the need to explain it).
We both know that Arkansas has a better all time record, better record against SEC teams and of course...a better head to head record vs. Ole Miss.
While I'm sure there could be SOME obscure statistic or sport that Ole Miss has enjoyed equal or better success than Arkansas (or for that matter Bama)....I just can't find it.
If that Auburn fan that is reading this to the OP could ask if he knows of anything....I'd appreciate it. I fear that beating Ole Miss will soon feel like picking on a disabled child and I wouldn't enjoy that.

I am pleased as punch with our season. Those guys exceeded my expectations when the season began by a mile. AND a half. WPS!!

beacuse it wont happen again for another 30 yrs ..BAMA had a shot ..They blew it . They will fall back to mid of the pack in SEC now ..Tennessee will win SEC next yr or maybe UK
