Until the good guys prove me wrong at home vs. an SEC opponent, Vandy 24, AU 20.

Couple things on vandy…

- the true freshman QB Jerad Curtis is the real deal. NFL arm, mobile, great size… he just needs the experience. Had 3 TOs vs NC St but also made some great throws and led the team in rushing. Reminds me of Matt Stafford as a TF. After a terrible start, Curtis scored TDs on four of their last 7 drives.
- the defense isn’t great but did a solid job stopping NC St running game.
- Vandy OL isn’t very good… the offense as a whole is a step down in talent from a year ago. Junior Sherrill is a solid WR… and Alexander is a good RB, but this team doesn’t have a Stowers like play maker.


Will also be interesting to see how they get back focused after their win Saturday… plus it’s their first road game of the season.

I’ll say 31-27 Auburn… -9.5 is nuts… no way were two scores better than anyone in SEC besides ark.

Still listening for signs of life and haven't sensed a pulse from anyone away from a message board. Much like how both us and Vandy have been (xxx-tremely) lucky to have beaten a team with a pulse. And while I wasn't there Jordan Hare didn't seem (on air) to have enough pulse to
rattle a QB who had ever played an AWAY NIGHT SEC GAME. So I'm not even factoring us the fans at home, nor us having a 5th year QB, nor this staff making adjustments due to our lack of talent...because we seem intent on using the big playbook instead of the paring it down to we can actually do.... in now our the 4th game of the season.

39 to 27 - a not better Vandy by two scores

Its a must win to me for this season. This isn't a good Vandy team.. they should have lost to a bad NC State team. If we can't beat this Vandy team then our issues this year are even bigger than we realize.
