Victorians have the most wrap around porches I think?

I can just envision little Kirby and little Will Muschamp being made to sit and shell peas on those porches

Here's some southern Greek revival

A big collection of houses along the main street in Eufala, Alabama are beautiful, just south of Aubie

What else Auburn? Victorian, Greek Revival, what else?

Teach us stuff.

There is one town in Georgia that the arsonist war criminal Sherman didn't burn that is crammed full of these type houses. Beautiful homes there. Can't remember the name of the town. Selma also has some of these type homes. I love the Greek Revival style plantation homes. They are scattered all over Tennessee and Virginia.

I work for a firm that concentrates on university work, and have been to every SEC campus except Oklahoma. By far, the ugliest collection of campus buildings can be found in Fayetteville.

It’s as if there are no campus standards at all. The Master Plan is fine, but the designs...

Twickenham in downtown HSV actually has the largest collection of antebellum homes in the state. There are some absolutely breathtaking homes in this area.
Greek revival, antebellum, Queen Anne, gothic revival, Italianate, bungalow…all there.

The Haley Center is a nice example of 1960s Soviet-Bloc architecture

The old Kappa Sig house in Auburn was designed by Paul Rudolph. The floating staircase was unique. Demolished in 2016.

Auburn is much better known for their trailer parks.

Single wides, double wides, and even some FEMAs.

I went and stayed in the Mouton Plantation home in Lafayette, LA, this past weekend. It was amazing. Built around 1820 I think.

Ain’t nothing wrong with shelling peas on a wrap-around porch. Nothing wrong with shelling them under an oak tree, either.
