The campus is pretty nice actually, but I’ll admit I was taken aback when I visited just how barren the surrounding area is. The town is literally surrounded by miles of empty fields. It’s a lot like many of the small towns in Kansas and Nebraska.

This isn’t unique to Auburn. FWIW it’s doubled in population from the time I graduated.

The real truth is you are an overly sensitive football fan who has taken the opposing fans little brother ribs far too seriously. Absolutely zero comments have came from me. And that makes you even angrier. You let down your guard with your "backhanded" diatribe. You being young have you considered getting the hell off this board and getting busy accomplishing something in the real world. And "calling out" other posters whose favorite team you despise is not an accomplishment. Maybe you do great things but there are only 24 hours in a day and you seemingly are here most of them.

Come jimdog, you know you make backhand comments about Auburn because there is some deep seeded resentment toward the University. You even drag your own daughter down to try and get a backhand slap. I treat you like I would Harvey Updike, another Bama fan who has a distorted view on what is important . The only difference between you two is Harvey followed thru on his hate.

I had never heard of Little Texas until this thread despite having lived in Auburn area for a decade.

No wonder you have no cell service.

Is there actually a hotel or motel in little Texas? If so, what’s the hourly rate?

You had to go thru Little Texas to play on one of the few public golf courses in the area back in the 80s. It was in Macon County, but AU students would go over there to play.

Because you aren’t even in Auburn but are trying to make seem as if you are. And most people are making fun of you.

I see Little Texas on Google maps but I'm still not entirely convinced it is a real place.

Barely. This thread is the first time I've ever heard of it, and I've been in Frog Eye, Alabama before

I’ve never heard of it and had to use Maps as well. I’ve driven near that area plenary of times (have lived in Auburn for 13 years). It’s obscure as hell. It’s basically a church and a few houses. It’s 15-20 miles from Auburn. OP is retarded.

Little Texas
Two things:

1) That's not Auburn. It's close, but so are Salem and Notasulga and Waverly. I'd take Loachapoka or Beauregard as critiques of "Auburn" before any of those.

2) idk what's wrong with this dude's eyesight but Hwy 29 literally looks like a dang roller coaster it's so up-and-down out there
