Auburn and Alabama have combined for the last 5 NC.

Clemson, FSU and Ohio State beg to disagree.

That is pretty solid. We beat bama about every other year for anout the past 30 years and you do realize you are not awarded a national championship for beating them, correct?

That is skewed by the fact that Alabama got gutted by the ncaa from about 2000 to 2007.....

I agree. Lots of votes and opinions are automatically made based on the logo next to the handle.

It’s particularly funny when someone has an obvious handle but a different team and gets attacked as a fan of the team.

I believe I Bleed Garnet recently received some Texas attacks.

With that said, you and your brood talk about Clemson 90% of the time and those posts are shite 100% of the time.

Have a nice day.

It may have meant nothing historically to you.

In Alabama, that game IS history. Whether its for the title or not. That game gets talked about 365 like no other I've ever seen....Well, LSU talks about the Bama game 365 but I mean when both sides talk it.

I didn't see any Auburn fans crying when Bama boosters paid an Auburn player to set them up. Still won games in the 90s.

Well the reason why the 2010 game is talked about so much is

1) It is the only time in modern history that Auburn won the National Title (previous time was 50+ years ago)

2) Alabama had won the National Title the year before

3) It was one of the strangest games played. The ball went about 20-30 yards barely paralleling the sideline and not going out of bounds, is one example. It was even stranger than the 1972 game

4) People think that Newton was not a legitimate player, and that will never end.

Auburn beating Bama has meant more to Bama in terms of title implications than Auburn. A couple of Iron Bowl losses have derailed Bama's title aspirations...thinking 2013 and 1989. Probably a couple of others.

We're the only team that has beaten them with any degree of regularity. The rest of you pussies need to step up your game.

Auburn Men would rather beat Alabama instead of lose to Alabama and win a championship. That is the mentality they have always had and always will have. For us it is the opposite. It won't ever change.

What a great summary. I mean, that's really how it is. Absolutely. For everyone. You nailed it. Great job.

You were fortunate that you did not play in the post season in 1993. You would have likely lost in the SECC game and/or the bowl.

The 1983 schedule was one of the most difficult in the history of football...but feel free to continue with a false narrative about that team being smoke and mirrors.

Funny considering the amount of dedicated headspace your fanbase has for Auburn. Hell even your greatest coach consistently talked about Auburn. Delusions are a great thing to believe...

Historically Auburn beating Bama has brought them their best coaches.

Auburn beats Bama and wins 1957 National Title, the next year in 1958, Bama hires Bear.

Auburn beats Bama 5 in a row from 2002-2006, then Bama hires Saban in 2007.

Id say our victories have meant a lot...

Auburn's whole existence is based on beating Alabama. You have no other rivalries other than your cousins Georgia who can't seem to beat us either or win National Championships. Just like Coach Dye said Auburn football could play for another 500 years and not reach the level of Alabama. Instead of accepting that you try and do the opposite. It is like what my dad told me when I was a young boy "Son, if you want to be a Banker, Doctor, Lawyer, or any type of businessman you go to Alabama. If you want to be a farmer, work for the State government, or work on a road crew you go to Auburn".
