Unfortunately correct. The brackets will already be made by tomorrow morning.

Auburn won the SEC Tournament in impressive fashion last year and they didn't budge us one inch off the three seed in Spokane, WA even though we wound up ranked in the top 8 in the polls, NET and every computer metric.

Unless you're an AQ or Bubble team, you're pretty much locked in when the conference tournaments start.

Auburn will not lose a 1 seed but this is all about who is in the Atlanta region. Florida could definitely steal the Atlanta 1 seed and send Auburn out west.

No they definitely can't. Auburn is the overall number 1 seed and will play in the Atlanta region.

You can't lose three out of your last four and be muh overall one seed.

That's not how college basketball works.

Far inferior schedule, not conference champion, lost to Georgia like two weeks ago. Auburn should be ahead of Florida no question. Duke might get 1 overall but like someone else said all that is irrelevant, getting sent to Atlanta is what matters. I'd rather auburn be the 2 seed in Atlanta than 1 somewhere else

You can with 16 quad 1 wins.

You need to let that go . Auburn has done enough to get the 1 seed, overall 1 is in question. If Duke wins the ACC. OR Florida wins the SEC. Either way Auburn is a solid 1.

They’ll get the overall #1. And rightfully so with their number of Quad 1 wins. Duke shouldn’t get credit for playing the North Carolina Sisters of the Blind half the conference season.

Facts…Auburn is a 1 seed.

Assumption: if Florida wins today they are the #1 overall. If Florida loses Auburn will be the #1 overall

The committee doesn’t weigh these tourney games that heavily. It’s between Duke and Auburn. AU’s resume should be a lock for the overall seed but ya never know with the Duke bias/love.

The committee who chooses barely considers the conference tournaments. They look at the resume as a whole. Florida and Tennessee played garbage non-conference schedule compared to Auburn. 16 quad 1 wins is 1 win shy of the record set by 2023 Kansas. That Kansas team didn't come close to the same metrics that Auburn of this season had and still got a #1 seed.

Auburn should be at best a 6 seed. They have looked dreadful.
