All three Aub,LSU, and Fla are going to give SEC teams hell. Every weekend will be Survival Saturday, but don’t be surprised if one of them wins the SEC , especially with Alabama and Ga not being as dominant as before.

LSU isn't winning the SEC

Maybe a hot take but I still think Auburn could.

I like your enthusiasm but I think this ^ is a no. Let's just take it a game at a time

Non-Conference Game loses do not require a mulligan. If you are talking about the CFP, the SECC will get an automatic bid. Those loses mainly show the weakness of each team, but UF will have to run the table to get in the SECCG.

You can kindly take LSU out of any “survival scenarios” until we get to week 7.

We can survive not going to a bowl by then.

LSU's loss has no bearing on it's SEC schedule so they're not in survival mode as far as the SEC goes

This is why we need to expand the playoffs. A team shouldn't have to think that if they have 2 losses they are probably not getting in the post season. It can't help but negatively affect scheduling. With so many teams and so few games, an inclusive playoff is the only reasonable way to figure out a champion.

And every sport has a building process for a team to peak at the end of the season as you cannot peak all year long. You see it all the time when a basketball team peaks to early.

How are we in here lol. We're going to be in every game and win one or two we shouldn't but I'm not expecting us to compete for the SEC Title this year.

All three indeed have just one mulligan and are in Survival mode, if they want to play for the big trophy.

I've been telling my Auburn buddies who have been melting (why they are? I'm not sure) that the PSU loss does nothing to hinder the goals of this team which would be win the west then win the SEC.

That may be true at the moment, but realistically, Auburn just doesn't have the horses. I've held out hope for Bo Nix to take a step to be a very good QB, but he will always be mediocre it looks like. Well wondered if any of the young WRs would step up to be the guy for Bo and none have. And one of the strengths of this team was supposed to be the LBers and secondary on defense but they are struggling to master the zone concepts Derek Mason wants to run. That with zero pass rush up front has led to the being either dead last, or near last in all fbs in opponent completion percentage. They're just getting shredded.

Overall, I like the foundation Harsin is building. That guy is all business and serious as a heart attack. But he's seriously handicapped by the talent just not being there. We won't be riding Tank to a division title with the lack of talent elsewhere.

SEC has had it smooth for long, it doesn’t know what real chaos is. Fans are about to find out.

I disagree as to Auburn and LSU. Neither of them have lost a conference game and have lost to top 25 opponents on the road. They can still make the playoff in my opinion despite dropping a conference game if they finish 7-1 in conference play, win the West, and win the SEC championship game.

But I wish people would stop talking about the playoff so damn much. It's September.

You've had all offseason to get it fixed. I like 4 teams. Maybe 6. Anything else seems watered down. Even when those lesser teams make it (Michigan St, Washington, Notre Dame) they get pummeled anyway.

No one has a mulligan except for Bama, we all know that.

LSU showed the same problems we have had for the first two weeks beating down a MAC team that came in unprepared, and now the dumbest of our fans are beating their chests about how we’re going to win it all

Rest of the Rant, I apologize for these clowns
