LSU showed the same problems we have had for the first two weeks beating down a MAC team that came in unprepared, and now the dumbest of our fans are beating their chests about how we’re going to win it all

Rest of the Rant, I apologize for these clowns

It's folks like you that I feel badly for when it comes to clowns like this one...we all got'em.

I've been telling my Auburn buddies who have been melting (why they are? I'm not sure) that the PSU loss does nothing to hinder the goals of this team which would be win the west then win the SEC.

You don't think your buddies have a right to melt when they watched an old Ted Roof defense take on PSU? Then they saw poor clock management, wasted time outs, idiotic play calling? It was way too reminiscent of the previous staff.

just doesn't have the horses. And one of the strengths of this team was supposed to be the LBers and secondary on defense but they are struggling to master the zone concepts Derek Mason wants to run. That with zero pass rush up front has led to the being either dead last, or near last in all fbs in opponent completion percentage. They're just getting shredded.

Mason is either stupid or stubborn as hell to have kept your guys in zone all night. ADJUST your scheme or pay the price when AU meets OleMiss/UGA/UA with QBs that can shred you.

Overall, I like the foundation Harsin is building. That guy is all business and serious as a heart attack. But he's seriously handicapped by the talent just not being there.

He maybe all business but he better be pounding the pavement for 4-5*'s OR that talent handicap will only get worse. AU can not compete in the SEC with classes ranked in the 20's back to back years.

And with all that typed out it'll still be Bama vs Georgia in Atlanta

That may be true at the moment, but realistically, Auburn just doesn't have the horses. I've held out hope for Bo Nix to take a step to be a very good QB, but he will always be mediocre it looks like.
Gotta agree with that. I held out hope thinking maybe new coaching would be the difference. Somethings improved, but he still can't set his feet.

A true passing team like Ole Miss will make PSU look like a toy bowl team if Mason stays married to the defensive scheme he ran all night Saturday. You cannot give any QB 8-10 seconds to find an open receiver.

Absolutley! I really, really like Harsin and his approach. Gus did him no favors with the talent he left. I am surprised how well the oline has played and expected that to be our weakest link. I know it's early, but so far they have played very well.

Harsin better tune up his OC and DC if Auburn is going to have a shot. Saturday night was like watching 2009 Gus and Roof.

I think LSU could get it together and end up 11-2. I also think we could get stomped this weekend and end up 6-7. If Max plays like he did last week and our wideouts continue to get separation, our running game will come on and I think we could be dangerous going into the Bama game. I think Georgia wins it all this year. That defense is fricking ridiculous.

All three Aub,LSU, and Fla are going to give SEC teams hell. Every weekend will be Survival Saturday, but don’t be surprised if one of them wins the SEC , especially with Alabama and Ga not being as dominant as before.

I want to see Georgia go undefeated in the regular season. Alabama win out until the Iron Bowl. Auburn wins out except UGA.

Auburn wins the SEC Champion as a 11-2 team against UGA who ends the season 12-1 and Alabama is 11-1.

What does the playoff committee do now?

All are in good shape. Two losses to OOC opponents, one to a cross-divisional opponent. You all control your own destinies.
